UD is
the top "D" in the A-10 on their home court. The Flyers need to make stops on "D" and rebound. They should make SLU shoot treys and not Bunnies.

Will the Medicine Ball

This reminds me of the Majerus teams. 5 point deficits seem like 10 point deficits.

Lazy passers and lazy receivers. Williams is so casual on his passes. No intensity out of that guy.

That should be no less than 10 laps for each lazy pass. Actually the second one should cost the team 20 given that it happened on the very next possession.

There may be times to play through a bad stretch, but AG has GOT to use TOS once in a while to stop the bleeding.

Outshooting them 49% to 43% and winning rebounds big, 31-24. We have 6 less shots because of 8 more turnovers and 5 less made free throws.

Not giving up. But that 11-0 run will probably prove the difference. Still can’t believe we pull within one off a bad pass, then give it back and then some with two lazy passes of our own.

At the under 8 timeout UD's players were just standing at midcourt for 3 minutes while SLU was at their bench being coached.

UD
just had their 2nd leading scorer foul out because their coach had them in the wrong defense for too many minutes in the second half.

Pathetic calls on Cunningham. He was outside the circle and not moving. These refs are gawd-awful. But, as bad as they are, we are even worse. We have no will to rebound and these turnovers are ridiculous. Thank God AG didn't call any timeouts, so this game can be over quicker.

St. Louis drills 3s
Refs forgot what a charge looked like

IF we can tighten a few things up on defensive fundamentals and valuing the basketball we will beat SLU in the rematch in Dayton. Then the rubber game will be the exciting 8 vs 9 game in the A10 Tournament.

This was a complete lack of effort, period. Does anyone know how to rebound? Anyone at all? Even Cunningham, for all the accolades he gets, does not box out well. XW is useless on the court anymore. He just runs around the perimeter and throws lazy passes. Svoboda did zero, Kostas zero. DD did very little in this game. We just gave it away with every single turnover and offensive rebound.

Lost by 13 points and 12 free throws. When one of the worst in the nation banks two in, you know you are toast.
Our guys on offense make a bunch of silly turnovers, 15, but our ole' defense caused only, 5.

The refs fell prey to SLU's muscle and bull rushes. SLU is the type of muscular team we struggle with. Then add an unconscious night from 3pt and there you have a road loss.
Jordan Davis made the same driving move they made and they got the blocking call, Jordan got the charge call.

LOL. First off, the kid is a great rebounder. Secondly, it sure helps to have other players help out, crash down, and put a body onan opponent crashing the boards. Cunningham can't do it himself.Williams and others are so soft it's a joke and as bad as UD's half-court offense is you have guards already taking off down the court plenty of times to get out on the break.Cunningham is 6'7, not 6'10" with arms down to the floor. He's never going to be the type of player who is going to be able to tip rebounds to himself and keep the ball up in the air.
