Seeing this story I am now a bigger fan than I was before. Also noted how the campus made him feel comfortable.

Jordan Davis is going to have some competition for that starting spot next season.

My Dream next year is Crutcher, J. Davis, Landers, Cunningham, Kostas starting 5... Dwayne first guard off the bench

I'm ready for next season! How can we not be better having our freshman with a season under their belt, eliminating the distractions, having Topin and Matos join the team, and welcoming back Mikesell? If Kostas works hard over the off season, and Svoboda contributes in any way, the ceiling could be high.

Most focus on offensive ability.
If this kid comes in as a total lock down defender, he gets significant playing time.

Anthony still has some scholarship flexibility as well. He's not done yet. I think he won't get caught with thin bench again.

I could see that eventually. But unless Dwayne proves it in practice from the git go, it is damaging to the team morale to anoint anyone with a starting position before they prove their mettle. And if he is as savvy and mature as his interviews appear, he will totally understand and embrace that concept. I think he gets plenty of minutes off the bench maybe even through ooc before he starts.

Excited for next year. I don't see Cohill starting, but he'll be getting significant minutes:
PG: Crutcher, Cohill
SG: Davis, Matos
GF: Landers, Mikesell, Svoboda
F: Cunningham, Toppin
F: Antetekumnpo, Pierce
Unless we land another big that could push Pierce down the pecking order, that seems like what we'll see next year. Pierce probably getting the least amount of minutes from that rotation. One of Mikesell or Svoboda likely gets relegated to mop up time duty. We also likely see Crutcher and Cohill on the floor together some.

Wishful thinking that Pierce is even here...insert a transfer there.

I don't know about that. I cannot count the number of open 3's Jordon missed this year. Granted that when he goes on a streak, he will hit several. I think time will tell with this.

The 15 minute clip in the other Cohill thread is supportive of the observation that Dwayne can score the ball. His hops are of the same cloth as Trey or DD. But of course at 6'3" he is shorter. He shows to have outstanding athleticism. But again it's a mistake to think that he will show up with upperclass D1 skills in the first game.
Take defense as an example. He has the skills and self confidence to eventually be a very good defender. But he has a lot to learn just like our current Freshmen. He would get schooled by Williams of VCU. And many others for that matter. He will be on a learning curve for at least the first semester. That's just to learn how inconsistent referees can be.

Let's just say he has some growing up to do. I think he will be a good player. Passes well and very unselfish. He came off as childish at times with some of the officials calls that he didn't agree with. Granted the officiating left a lot to be desire, but hopefully he grows out of that and becomes the player we all hope he will be. I don't see AG putting up with that type of behavior

I feel very confident that Trey and Josh, who deserve to be co-captains next season, will school him right out of hissy fits with the refs, if Anthony doesn't do it himself. That's one of the easier lessons to learn.
Another lesson near the top is to not be careless with the ball and "snap" those passes in the back court. Crutcher had to learn that, and DD needed a refresher as well. It got a lot better in the second half of the season.
