NCAA tickets for Indianapolis
Does anyone have any information yet on whether Ideal Travel is going to have a bus excursion to Indianapolis? Realizing that we don't know what session we will be playing in yet I was wondering the best way to obtain tickets because I am planning on going.
Kentucky fans will be buying tickets at a furious pace when the announcement is made. Is Louisville vs. Jacksonville St. and Michigan vs. Oklahoma St. the other four teams that will be in Indianapolis? Anyone know for sure!

Ticketmaster.com is the best place to buy tickets. The games are at Banker's Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and only upper balcony in the corners are available.
Won't know until later on tonight whether UD will be session 1, session 2 or session 3.

There are several sites that resell or are exchange sites that have good lower level seats available but you will pay a premium. I've seen anywhere from 175 to 250 per seat for one session.

You are right, but for Clarity to others, the ncaa.com site is linked to ticketmaster. Essentially it's the same thing.

I am guessing we will be in session 2. We will be paired with UK- UNK . I assume that game will be in the evening session.

Use the link I gave above for the Pacers seat view page or try a ViewfromMySeat. http://aviewfrommyseat.com/venue/Ban...fe+Fieldhouse/
Also folks don't hesitate thinking prices are going to go down. On Stubhub the lowest priced ticket including fees in the lower arena/club level is $245 which is up about $60 from when I got mine. Lowest price in the upper arena is 170 which is up $40 from a couple hours ago.
I normally try to wait out ticket prices, but with Kentucky playing in the same session I just went ahead and bought tickets. There might be deals later in the week, but the resellers know UK fans will pay and they are going to make a killing this week.

Louisville is in Indy too...Louisville probably travels well also...I bet Indy will have the greatest demand for tix of all the first round sites.

With the teams playing in Indy, and the ticket demand, I believe they could have easily used Lucas Oil Stadium for these games.

Leslie was unable to get a bus. Buckeye and Lakefront were sold out.
Lots of Spring Break trips and also First Four to be covered.

Maybe THirt will wrap you up in his flag to protect your royal swaddling self.
I have no problem with the attitude, but please exchange the sanitizer for a camera with a zoom lens; and I think you know where I am going with this. Expecting a full report! And, I suspect UK will win that category in Indy.

I believe Betty Sue's UK profile said something about her major being in Pre-Trailer Park Management....which explains the roots and flexibility.

The funniest part is Betty Sue is only "Pre" major, despite 30hrs of "C-" work transferred from academically rigorous UofL. The "pre" is sure sign Betty is keeping her options open; as she hopes to land an Oakwood man, perhaps a royally intelligent son of a brilliant instructor.
I'm just glad you didn't name her "Beatty Sue". Will Oakwood zoning allow for a trailer in your royal backyard???

Just a heads up from anyone commuting to the game(s) and not spending the weekend in hotels...you may want to go online (there are links from Bankers Life Fieldhouse website) and prepay for your parking in a local facility. There are many many public parking garages/lots but they are rapidly filling up. You can prepay by setting your arrival/departure times and you are emailed your entry pass.

Thanks Radar!! My wife and I would've shown up and been S.O.L. had you not mentioned pre-paying for parking ahead of time.
Here's the link for anyone else interested: www.parkwhiz.com
You can also download the App on your Droid or iPhone and get your parking pass on your phone.

I found an article about the ticket prices in Indy this weekend that I thought people might find interesting. Each school only got 450 tickets for their session and the tickets for players families, staff, and others in the Athletic Department come out of that allotment. The article included that UK only had 90 tickets left to offer it's K fund members and UL only had 106 for it's donors. So if anyone was upset they couldn't get tickets from UD hopefully this helps you understand the fault really lies with the NCAA for only saving this many tickets for the participating schools.

This might have already been posted, but vividseats.com has some tickets for sale.
Starting at $93 for session 2...all session tickets start at $227.
Session 1 starts at only $43, session 2 costs more than twice as much, sheesh.

Don't forget that those prices do not include fees. I clicked on a ticket that was listed at $102 and after fees it was $130. That's what I like about stubhub is that there is an option where it shows you the price including fees while you search.
