If you would have told me the number of free throws Alabama would have so far, I would have assumed we were down 20. Still not sure how we are up as much as we are but I love it!

That call against Jalen was indeed weak. We are pushing the ball more tonight than any game this year. I think Archie has figured out that we really do have some quickness, including in our bigs, to get up and down the court. I like that...the Flyers can pick up a lot of baskets off the break and not get bogged down in a half-court game.

14 point lead.
Alabama timeout.
I'd feel pretty comfortable if there were only 2 minutes left in the game.

The Flyers are eating up that zone with the pass into the paint. The bigs are making some good decisions and looking for the breaker to the basket...great basketball, really.

Quick 5 point run by Alabama, followed by a UD turnover.
9 point lead. 8+ to go.

3 free throws for Vee! That rarely happens to us. We usually commit that foul. Hope the Alabama player didn't tear an ACL.

I hope the Alabama center is okay. For his sake but also for our RPI's sake.
Still, he should sit for the rest of the game to be on the safe side.

Alabama is playing very aggresive on D. They really should have a lot more fouls racked up. Alot of "body" fouls.

Definitely a big step up, but the freaking was on the three games in a row, each arguably worse than the last.
For most, nothing is just about one game.

This color guy is great, I think I could listen to him call a game all day.
Some one asked above about a booger bear. Don't know about that, but I'm guessing more than one reporter got a face full of bear (Bryant) boogers back in the day

81 - 76 and 7 in a row against the SEC.
After the last game, this seemed hard to imagine.

alabama missing everything the second half. Not digging their offense, but hey that's their problem.
ARch stuck with Khari, Dev, Vee, Dill, Benson, PIerre and a short bench. Wow.
up 10 for most of the second half. Dill was just on for most of the game.
Knew this team was capable, just weird how they are showing it.
Put a W in the books, and bring on Miami.

Yea, but did rollo take the Flyers to win? I doubt it.

Very well played game on both ends of the court. Dillard and Benson had huge games. This was the closest thing to a clinic by the Flyers that I have seen for quite a while.

49%FG 42%3's and 78% FT out rebounded them by 6 and only 14 turnovers against the press. The two seniors led the way, and JB only took one bad shot early

Yeah baby. Well, this basically cancels out Weber State. Weber who? That game was so long ago...

big road win for sure. But let's not put Bama on a pedestal at this point in the year. Last years Bama team was a good one. Think the jury is out on this years Grant team.

Wow, big, big win against rpi #22 Alabama on the road. Also, Alabama was #30 and #32 in the rankings this week.
This makes up for the Weber State loss.
This win really helps to get the team back on track for an at-large bid. We'll see if they can keep it going.

Beat an RPI #23 Team
Just beat Bama with an RPI of #23 on their home court. Good job Flyers!

Let's hope that Weber State finishes the rest of their schedule with a lot of wins so that loss doesn't look as bad. Let's also hope that loss doesn't come back and bite us in the a$$.

Great win for the Flyers!
I had to deal with my dinosaur computer crashing every so often, and only got to see about 80% of the game in 10 second intervals, but I'm happy as a clam at the moment.
This team, like other recent Flyer teams, seems to play to the level of the opposition. This kind of erases the Weber State loss, but I can foresee a season that has a loss to Fordham and a win over St. Joes, a loss to GW and a win over Temple.
What a great, exciting team to root for. Frustrating sometimes, but I love it.
Congratulations to the whole program! Now we know what we can do if we put our minds to it. This could be a turning point for the season.
(You know, following the Flyers is kind of like my love for golf. A few great shots in a round seem to make up for all the clunkers.)

I know scheduling 17 or 18 homes games is how we fund things at UD, but...
Let's just stop buying home games and play all home and home series. After all, we are now road warriors!
