Correct. The opening line had Northwestern a 1.5 point favorite.

It looks like UD is now a 1 point favorite. Northwestern still has two guys on the injured list. I'm not sure how much impact it has on their team but maybe significant enough as of late.

Question
Doesn't all this movement from NU by 1 1/2 to UD by 1 1/2 mean the money waged started in favor of NU, and then shifted to heavier money on Dayton ? Isn't it a shift to bring the total money bet into a more normalized range? Not a direct correlation to the odds on who will win, or the point spread?
???

I watched Northwestern against Chicago State. They had trouble with their motion, speed, and 3 point shooting. NW may have been overlooking them a little. They have a couple of 3 point shooters, but I think we will out hustle and cause turnovers against them.

Or was it that the bettors liked the Flyers getting a point and the line moved the other way so the money would go toward NU?

Another way SDF could have put that is, The public originally was betting on UD when they were getting the points, they bet it down to a pick'em, at that point money started leaning NU, thats where Vegas pounces, get heavy NU money by giving them the points. All about the juice. Vegas doesn't care about wins and losses. Vegas cares about even money on the games.....they just want to pocket the juice. I like to think i know a little about sports betting but I'm by no means an authority. Apparently we have a house expert, which is cool, these guys interest me. Am i correct DG?
