PW will need 3 or 4 weeks to be 100%. He missed almost 2 months before returning to practice.
Team looked relatively sharp for a first exhibition game but it was a Div 3 school (very short and very slow) so it is hard to make many projections at this point. Hopefully Gannon will be a better test.

This might have been mentioned before in this thread, but i am too lazy to look:
I am very unimpressed by KH and his rebounding numbers, but MAN 7 team blocks and 3 by KH is a good defensive number...if our defense can control the paint like that, lapses of judgement by guards will be negated and our defense will be spectacular.

Don't forget that Capital's tallest player was 6 ft 7 in. I'm not sure if we'll see those types of blocking numbers throughout the season. Last night it seemed like we got caught in a lot of picks with two guys taking the ball leaving a wide open three available, something that I remember happening a lot last year as well.

I'm kinda impressed by Devin Searcy, 12 Points and 10 Rebounds.

First game, but our 3pt% as a team was not where we will need it later in the season. We don't want teams to "pack it in" on us defensively.
Not worried about it at this point, but we will need to shoot better from 3 (as a team) to keep defenses honest.

Legitimate concern for sure. But I was encouraged by the quality of strokers from 3pt. The form is there for the result to follow.

I'm hoping that when the conference season rolls around we are still untested
