depend on Charles Cooke to be your leading scorer...
annoint him a star, and depend on him in crucial games, and you get what we got the last two years. Without being the locker room cancer as far as I know, he's ruined the great 3 seniors last 2 seasons, just as Staten did Wright's senior season.

Oh please. This is horse manure.
So now we want to eat our own. Jeez- you win as a team and you lose as a team.

I think I'll spend the weekend away from the board and come back early next week. Some of the post after the loss tonight are way over the top.

He's been a bum for this team. He ball hogs, stifles the offense and at crucial time flips balls over his head wildly like he's a harlem globetrotter. And misses what 10-15 shots without making any driving the paint. I'm sooooo glad I never have to watch him play for the Flyers ever again. He's a negative production player. Better than Sibert? lol, what a joke!!!

Except I've pointed this out over and over before tonight, he's not a good player for a True Team.
Good riddance.

You fooled me, I actually thought you watched the games. It's no accident that the magnificent 7 did what they did in 2014-2015, replace Sibert with Charles Choke and our offense stifles. He stops all passing, takes 2 or 3 seconds to decide if he wants to launch from 3 or drive into traffic and the D catches up. Sibert could shoot better, could use speed bursts and was a great finisher, this choke artist comes in, people annoint him NBA ready and he totally stifles this team.
In two season, I can remember many moments that Scooch and Kendall took over games and clutched us to wins. I can remember a couple times that Kyle has nailed a buzzer beater, I can think of same with XW and Baby D too, but not once can I think of a time that Cooke didn't crap the bed when given the chance.
I don't think I've despised a player more. And that's not even getting into him messing around with Scooch's girl last season to destroy what chemistry we had left. He was a cancer off and on the court.

We lost by 6 points. Two starters shoot 2 for 19. If they shoot 4 for 10 and 4 for 9 (less than 50% of which some shots were layups), we win. Enough said. There is no need to get into libelous and slanderous character assassinations.

I have to agree. I don't mean to impugn the overall character of the team or seniors at this point but Charles has been a major disappointment the last 8-10 games. He just hasn't lived up to the hype and his offensive performance or lack there of, will not be greatly missed.

November first is 228 days away. My countdown has begun. A new taller more athletic fantastic four are coming. We had a truly enjoyable 4 years and looking forward to the next 4. Archie is able to get better talent and make that talent even better. Can't wait to see what is next. Enjoyed the ride no blame to be assigned. New better ride coming.

No question that Cooke had a bad game. The missed layup and missed rebound in the final few minutes were killers. But, I don't think it was from lack of effort. He didn't take a ton of shots and probably understood he was struggling. It is very possible that he just had too little confidence and after missing some shots it really affected his play.

Another acerbic remark followed by a defense of every reply. Seriously, relax and watch a few games. This staff & teams best days are ahead of them, not behind them. The tournament is a great event, enjoy it.

Smitty when you replace Archie your opinion of how Cooke hampers Archie's offense will have more credibility. Because Cooke was doing what Archie wants given the warts this team has in regards to half court offense. Your criticism should be directed to the guy making millions.
The bigger reason they list is no inside presence on offense or defense. Rebound and Wichita State loses by double digits.
You can just as easily place the blame on Kendall's two boards.
