Updates since we lost to Wichita State
For those of you just joining us since that fateful game, here is a summary of what you have missed at UDPride
1. Archie Miller is a traitor. And a god. But probably a traitor.
2. McKinley Wright is toying with us, but some think he is actually coming to UD
3. Did I mention we hired Anthony Grant? That's the good news.
4. Bad news is we lost all of our assistant coaches and at least two recruits.
5. John Crosby is leaving UD. Very divided group on him. Mostly just talking louder than the other group. No, I always liked JC. No, you didn't. Yes, I did... etc.
6. We still have like 18 scholarships to fill. But it is early. Except many think that it is not early. Again, a big ****ing match.
7. Nobody seems to know what is going on with Kostas, or the Czech recruit.
8. Wichita State joined the AAC, we are still in the A10. This is mostly received as good enough for us.
9. But hey, we also got the First Four for like three more years.
10. Lots of banter on some coach named Ray something.
Have a *****in summer.

I wish I had just waited for this summary instead of some of the full throated
discussion over the past five weeks. That said, Rollo has provided some nice pictures...

Not that I believe it, but it is certainly possible that he will finish this semester and then play pro in Europe...no? I guess you are saying if that were the case, then UD admin would have announced that, right? As was pointed out earlier, AG holds his cards pretty close to the vest..... Nothing would surprise me.

All just an extension of the caca we endured before and after the election. That mindset permeates everything these days. Was there picketing outside Cronin this week? Wouldn't be surprised. Very perceptive CoffeeCan.

Any of the players could leave school and go play in europe. We should be worried that UD wont field a team next year....

Right...except one guy on the team is from there. Has family there. And older brothers who played out there. It is not impossible that he would go back.
I think we all believe he is staying, but to see him staying as an absolute is foolish. Nothing is an absolute.

Absolute refers to Ray Harper as an absolute

We start these threads on who may leave (Archie, McKinley et al), who we want to leave (Crosby) and they eventually come to fruition. Can we please stop talking about Kostas and god forbid start a thread on him alone. As it stands, he's the straw who stirs the drink, we can not afford for him to leave as he has the potential to make this team good this year and great next year. You mention something enough, it tends to happen.

It wasn't announced that Crosby was leaving, until it was.

His family all moved to the US when Giannis was drafted. Anything is possible, but it seemed more plausible that he would go last year when faced with having to sit out a full year in college. Now that he is eligible to play college basketball, it doesn't seem like a realistic possibility of him going.

Kostas leaving is about as logical as Assad being responsible for the gas attack. Sure it is possible, but it makes absolutely no sense. He already could have gone to Europe. Any player can go to Europe if they are good enough. He decided to play college ball solely to play for Archie Miller? I don't buy it.

Wait, you mean Assad caused my gas attack. And I was blaming the black beans.
