Any TV for the Richmond game!
I have Spectrum and I don't see anything on the guide.

Stadium is on digital channel 22.2 in the Dayton area, over-the-air only I believe, meaning you need an antenna to pick it up.
Other OTA markets can be found here:

207 is stadium. I turned it to there & they said it's exclusively on Facebook unfortunately. Not sure if there's a way to stream through Roku now

Thanks. No biggie. I have a Roku tv but never really look at anything other than Amazon Prime and Netflix.

22.2... Not showing. Looks like the laptop on the 75 inch big screen.

If you have a smart TV download the facebook video app. You can stream it live on your TV through there.

Stadium and the schools SIDs need to do a better job communicating exactly where these games are available.
The distinction tonight was that this was a "Facebook Stadium" game. Those are just on Facebook and don't get shown on the Stadium OTA channels like 22.2. If it was just a "Stadium/WatchStadium" game it probably would have been on 22.2. It's all a guessing game that Stadium and the schools could do a better job clearing up.

That's a great point, I presume the Dayton area had the game on TV, but most of us are elsewhere. One would think the AD's office would help us out by having an intern connect the dots for us. I never knew Facebook had sports.

I have seen much worse broadcasts and announcers than what we had tonight. Only complaint I had was three times the screen froze up and was buffering, that usually only happens when I am watching, um, cartoons, yea cartoons!

The Dayton area did not have it on TV. The schedule page said Stadium/Facebook. The video link took you to the facebook feed.

I watched it on Facebook and alerted friends and relatives to the FB Stadium Live broadcast. It was nice without commercials. I moved away from the computer toward the end when our lead got down to 2--couldn't watch. Checked it after a while and it was back to 6.
Didn't really start breathing well till it was still 6 with only a few seconds to go, lol.
Time to win two in a row finally. After the way the announcers were gushing over Golden, I was surprised to see that he had only 6 pts. Glad Trey came through again. Need that every game. Bring on VCU and keep up the wins.

I agree. I thought the announcers were pretty solid. In fact, I thought the Shea woman doing sideline was pretty solid too -- so much so I felt the softball stuff they made her do with social media check-ins and real-time polling was below her ability and pay grade. Her questions to the coaches before/after the game were solid and her general hoops knowledge was also respectful.
My feed only cut out once about 5 minutes in for about 90 seconds. From there is was smooth sailing in full-screen. In-game graphics also spot-on. Felt almost like ESPN3 to me. As much as I loathe Facebook at times, call me impressed. Maybe Im guilty of the bigotry of low expectations.

Thought sideline reporter was excellent — she asked great questions.
My streaming was horrible and whole production just screams mid major.

I made the comment during the broadcast that I thought the production was pretty solid for a Facebook live event. I would rather see that than be the second game on a channel that starts us late due to a holdover. Granted, it is pretty mid-major, but I don't like the UD feed punched in 7 minutes into the game. Mine locked up a few minutes in but stayed legit the rest of the broadcast.
My setup involves a laptop and a 75 inch with audio fed back through my surround. Last night wasn't as sharp of an HD broadcast such as ESPN 3, but it did the trick. I have smart devices, so I will have to try the app the next time to take the laptop out of the mix.

I got my feed through Facebook. Never had a problem with anything cutting out. Did I miss something? I did not have Larry and Bucky for audio. Was that just something you did to listen to them rather than the Facebook team?
