12 Minute Mark against RI

Down 10. Archie replaces SMcElevene with Wehrli.Wehrli gives up an offensive rebound and putback. Down 12. Wehrli gets beat off dribble. Down 14.

I know there's been flux with the rotation this year, including today with D Davis being out. But Archie cannot continue to play Wehrli if we're going to do anything this year. Just let McElvene foul out if that's what happens. Or play the other freshmen.

AWFUL COACHING.

Cut it to 10 with 14:23 left and subs out Schoochie and Pollard and all the sudden down 14 with 11:24 to go. We had the momentum and then ....

And Steve doesn't go back in. Wherli and Mikesell getting close to 10 minutes a game after barely even seeing the floor for 15 games. Honestly no clue what Archie is doing.

Mikesell played more due to baby d being gone. Wehrli played because he does do well on the ball screens. But he gives up size obviously and can't guard perimeter. Blue print is out--- ball screen our defense like crazy and on offense stop transition and make us play half court

Have you noticed than none of these other teams substitute much? They are running their players for 38 to 40 minutes. Subbing is highly over-rated as it dilutes the quality of the players on the floor at any given time.

When we lost to St. Bonaventure at home did anyone notice that Jaylen Adams did not come out of the game one time! He played all 40 minutes, scored 41 points and led his team to victory
On the other side of the coin Scoochie is usually "rested" 4 times a half coinciding with the 4 TV timeouts. Crosby has played well at times but most of the time we lose a lead or something. It is like the saying "one step forward, two steps back." Don't get me wrong I agree all the starters could use an occasional rest, just not for 4 or 5 minutes at a time!
