St Joe game
Gave up two goals first 10 minutes but then settled down getting a goal before half but also gave up another.
Girls seem tentative on the turf.
Final SJU 4 UD 2
late goal with a little extra help....

Not much of a surprise. We had 3 shots on goal the entire game. 3. The good news is Kiehl put 2 of them in. SJU made one save in the entire match -- and we had 7 corner kicks. How does that happen other than not winning literally every challenge in the box on nearly every corner kick we took. We had double the fouls. Again, fouling because we're caught out of position and forced to slow the game down.
Still no Pestell. A tie or win would have really given us some needed cushion vs SJU in the A10 tourney race. We're not sinking, but we're not necessarily getting better either. Men are experiencing the same stuck in neutral issue. But lets not forget we are hiding massive weaknesses every match. Sometimes they are impossible to hide.

I was worried about coming into their house and setting the tone early. They had been 1-3-1 and needed that win so much today to even stay in the hunt. Updated standings show that it's coming down to do or die time for most teams and that makes the matches very intense. Hate to say it but this season could be a throwaway after Tucker's departure it definitely takes some time for a new coach to build their system. Tucker was tactical and would have been mixing up line-ups but it seems Golz doesn't have that luxury right now ...time to rebuild.

Options are limited when the cupboard is bare.

Yeah, agreed. Doesn't have that luxury right now. Meaning, bench is pretty thin.
