John Bedell was incredibly rude, acting like it was a regular caller who was beating a dead horse.

i think it's a **** good question. nothing against coach donoher, but coach blackburn laid the foundation for everything after. they both deserve it.

Agree with those who said Bedell was rude. The CORRECT answer that he SHOULD HAVE given was "Both Coach Donoher AND Coach Blackburn deserve to be in the Hall of Fame".

Nice to see that Coach Donoher is finally getting his just reward for a career well done. I only met him once, at the Open House for the Center named for him. My mom, wife, daughter and I all went. Mom knew him (from a distance) from working on campus. I introduced him to my then-preschool aged daughter. She seemed in awe, and he couldn't have been more gracious and humble. That's what you call a "class act"!

A fitting honor for a great man. Congratulations, Coach!

I heard the exchange on the way home from the game. I took it from their back and forth that this particular caller has called in several times before with the same question and argument and attitude. While I agree Bedell could have handled it better, I believe he was trying to move on to get to more relevant post game discussion. Just my humble take on it.

Coach Donoher was bigger than life to me when I was a teenager. I listened to every coaches show on radio and TV. I loved it at the end of every pregame discussion, when Bucky would say "Good luck tonight Coach". And prior to the pregame interview, Bucky would always say "Now stay tuned for Coaches Corner.
