Baby D, fix this one tiny issue and the sky's the limit.
I love Baby D and think he's going to be a star for the Flyers in his final 2 seasons. But one thing he needs to correct. He reminds me of a WR who tries to run the ball before he catches it. You know the one, that takes his eyes off the pass a split 2nd too early.
I've seen quite a few instances where he bobbles passes because it looks like he's in a hurry to take the open shot that appears to exist. Most of the time he regains control, but loses the opening. I think this eagerness to get off the open shot probably has had an effect on his 3 point shooting percentage this season as well. I think he sometimes is so eager to get his shot off that he doesn't shoot it smoothly.
His all around game has improved and once he gets rid of this pesky little issue that has cropped up, he is going to be on the Golden Dnuts list just about every game.

He still needs more strength. He can run right out from under his legs. And any bump can send him off course. Need to dump the "Baby" moniker. He's maturing enough to be Darrell.

He is Darrell Davis, Jr. He will always be Baby D, to his family and teammates. So stick with it!

Baby D, I've got to add one more issue you need to fix. At least once a game you throw a stupid lazy pass. Today that pass turned the momentum completely around. This should be an easier issue to fix. Do it.

That pass to Pollard was awful in a critical time. This team does not use the bounce pass and so his lazy pass resulted in a turnover and a quick bucket on their part.

I'm not sure if that was the same one I was talking about because I don't know who he was throwing it to as the target was blocked out of my view by two opponents
The one I was referring to was the one that turned into a three by the recipient of the gift pass.

I think it was two consecutive plays. Up 46-40 and Steve blocks dot inside. Nobody from UD chased down the ball and UTC nails a trey. Then DD throws the ball away and doesn't close out. Another trey.
Exit at dead ball. Archie pointed to the corner, we all thought DD man chased down the block. That seemed to confirm it.

Actually I think it happened in the reverse order. First the turnover to turn our 6 point lead to a 3 point lead and then the blocked shot that tied it.
