Trey. Rapidly becoming the leader this team needs. He's not polished, lacks height and his skill level isn't the greatest, but you can't teach heart and desire.

Positives: Trey (got my vote), Josh, Kostas, and I’ll even throw a bit of crosby in there. 87 points is 87 points no matter who you play against.
Negatives: Zone defense, Zone defense, Zone defense, turnovers, live-ball turnovers, Zone defense, AG’s refusal to change defense.
I’ll take the win. Onto VCU

Easiest vote ever. Trey simply played with more heart and desire than anybody else on the court.

Yes, some very good choices there, and I think DD should have gotten an Honorable Mention for being Mister Icewater at the FT line again tonight. But yes, Trey was the difference maker tonight. Taking it to the rack. Hitting the floor for loose balls. Crashing the glass. And playing with that “We are not going to lose!” attitude. Yep. Def Trey.

Voted Crosby. 9 points on 1/2 from 2, 2/3 from 3, and 1/1 ft. 3 rebounds, 2 assists, no turnovers, and solid defense. Believe scored all 9 points in last 10 seconds of 1H and first minutes of 2H. Both end of 1H and beginning of 2H were key in that his points reversed big Richmond runs.
Also his best ever kenpom offensive game rating at 178.
Crosby is the most improved player, sorry Baby D.

Trey.
You can complain about the zone defense all day long...apparently you haven't seen us torched in man on the regular.
Until they can stop dribble penetration, play help side, and not foul with a short bench...you will and you should see limited man defense. I don't like it, but is is all they are left with.

I voted TL. He did a lot to help us win this game, but his 9 rebounds really sealed the vote for me and is representative of what you can do if your heart and head is in the game.

Cunningham was once again remarkable. Despite foul trouble, so less playing time, and with an obvious limp much of the second half, he put up great offense.
Trey got my vote, because his penetration in the second half got us a bunch of points. Trey was also rebounding while others were watching with no blockout. It was good to see the game yesterday in person from high up at mid-court, because our zone defense is terrible, and Trey got burned most of the night. At times he seemed to think the zone was rest time.
Crosby played a great game, but with the game on the line and a 6 point lead and 1:13 to go, Grant made a great call by switching to man in order to deny the three, and Crosby did not get the memo. John was still playing zone, so he collapsed back to the high post and left his man wide open for a three that cut the lead to 3.
