The ref under the basket has 1 job...watch contact. The center and trail officials watch the shot.

Your amateur observations indicate that you're a 'ball watcher' which is a mortal sin in officiating. But don't take this personally as there are a lot of sinners on this site!
I did not spend any time watching it over but I thought Trey touched the ball when it was in the cylinder but I believe that basket interference is one of the most under called violations in the game. Isn't the rule that any part of the ball can't be within the cylinder? I believe FIBA rules are different and I would prefer to see no calls for that type of basket interference.

As long as the official believes the ball has 'a possibility of entering the basket' (or something like that), then goaltending is appropriate. I've seen plenty of potential goaltending calls ignored because the ball was rotating out of the ring but still was partially over the rim.

Who cares if they serve beer! You stuff a few in your royal bloomers and if the ticket taker asks about the bulge in your pants, you tell them that you're just 'really happy to be here!'

I did rewatch it and this was my impression too - ball in the cylinder. My problem was I didn’t know if that was still a rule because like you so many times it’s not called and so many people think it should not be called. He didn’t touch the net, but that wasn’t the call.
