No excuses? That's no fun. Let me start the list:
1. We are tired
2. Matos is hurt
3. Fordham is a tough place to play because no one shows up so it's hard to be motivated
4. We ate some bad cheesesteaks (oh wait, that is the excuse for St. Joes or LaSalle).

Matos hurt, yeah baby that’s what’s killing us. Really missing a judo who scored 8 baskets in his career —8! Just over a basket a game. So it can’t be any shortcomings of the current roster that’s causing us to be at best mediocre!!

Need to take advantage of a great road opportunity to make up for Wednesday's home debacle.
We have to get our guys to respect every opponent. The Flyer uniform alone won't scare anyone to a defeat.

You consistently provide the best analysis on this site. I don't know how you do it, so amazing. Someone with your talents should move on to ESPN or Fox Sports, we're not worthy.

I don’t care how unrealistic this expectation is, but I want us to win by 20. I want to see us go on the road and absolutely dominate an opponent that we should dominate. I want to see us come out angry and on fire.

Sometimes the simplest rebuttals are the best (though you could have included “the walk-on” in that sentence, for added emphasis).

And they're off as Landers bricks a wide open three and then charges.

About as bad a start for Landers as I’ve seen. Three bricks, but one layup. Two turnovers. Get it going guy ...

Seems like this is happening very frequently with Landers and two additional turnovers by forcing bad passes. He needs to realize at some point that he's probably the least offensively talented player that starts. Love the effort and energy but he needs to understand his role

6 turnovers so far. I contend this is the worst-passing Flyer team I have ever observed.

If we had baskets on just half of those turnovers, we’d have a double digit lead. Thank God Fordham saw our shot chart from the GM game and thought that looked like a good strategy.

Trey’s problem is, he looks back at what could have been instead of forward at what needs to be. And, oh yeah, he pi$$e$ and moans at the refs, too. Just shut up and play, Dude.

Actually, Frankie might have needed this environment. 2,000 people in a gymnasium instead of 13,000 people in an Arena.

Trey did not have that problem last year. He seemed to play harder and smarter last year.

Meanwhile, Saint Louis vs Davidson looking like they are playing with a square basketball. 13–11 with less than 8 to play in half

Watching that game with the sound off while listening to Larry and Brooks. I keep waiting for the refs to break-out the stepladders to get the balls out of the peach baskets.

Cunningham killing me with the Shaq-esque FT shooting.

33-20...they finished out the half with a penetration and kick-out for Jordan Davis' three.

Great to see Davis hit that very tough three in the corner. He was 0-2 to that point.
Fordham doing what we did against GM. Their two young guards are 0-13.

Winning all the stats except turnovers, 10-5. Shot 50% to their 26%. We have 24 rebounds to their 14. 43% on threes (thanks to Frankie) and 80% on free throws.

Anyone know what Cunningham’s career FT percentage is? I just don’t remember him being so woeful from the line last year. Loving his effort in the paint this afternoon though.

Isn’t this the same Fordham coach who burned all of his timeouts in the first half last year?

It’s at the point with Josh where he can’t be on the floor if we’re nursing a late lead. Teams will just employ a Hack-a-Ham strategy.

Landers perimeter shot has completely disappeared. They are beginning to not even guard him at 15 feet.

For something to disappear, it first has to appear. Shooting Js aint his game. Rebound and garbage buckets. Be Kendall.
