Can we get some love for Pierre???
Man, oh man. Who honestley expected him to sink 3 out of 3 on that series of free throws? I actually thought he could but didn't expect it. The guy is not a bad free throw shooter, he's excellent when the game is on the line. He's just inconsistent during the normal flow of the game. By the time he's a senior, he's going to be one of the greatest flyers ever if he takes the bull by the horns. He's got ice in veins whatever that means.

You do realize it gets a lot colder up in Canada don't you. They have ice in their veins
Didn't think he would but nothing but net.

He played very well. 7-7 free throws, I think. Major props to him for sinking those clutch ft. Having the stones to shoot that 3 was pretty darn good too. He is good. I don't think he knows how good he is.
What is more clutch than those free throws? Maybe only vee's shot. But Pierre so did a good job getting in craft's way on the last shot too.
He is clutch. I said to my wife before the game that he was the key to a Flyer victory. Maybe it was being closer to home.

I told my son that Pierre bailed Oliver out because at the 1 min. 11 sec. mark DMO missed two free throws which would have put us up 57-55.
Several times this season, the most recent against St. Joe's, the ball has been in DMO's hands with the chance for the game winner. At Ole Miss he hit the game winner on a 3 pointer at the buzzer, but other times he oftentimes took the blame for a loss.
He has been a great leader for the Flyers this season and I am happy he won't have to carry around the memory of a loss to OSU in the first game of the 2014 NCAA Tournament.

I love DEVO, but let's be honest, that shot at Ole Miss was straight on and he banked it in, he missed it as far as I'm concerned. My point being he is not the one I want taking the do or die shot at the end of the game because he has yet to prove to me he can do it after 4 years. But I still love what he brings to the team.

I think Pierre has the biggest balls on the team. He has been consistently hard-nosed since he arrived in Dayton. He has the attitude of a champion.

I wanted Pierre's number to be called for the last shot. Vee was a good choice.

i was a good shooter in high school and beyond. Get me to the foul line in a game or worse a technical foul and i stunk it up. Think DMO gets the yips at times.
On other hand HUGE PROPS to Iceman Dyshawn Pierre. Once he hit the third one i had feeling we would win. Just HUGE!!

i thought about it after the game Dallas. I AGREE.
Pierre would have been obvious as he had some drives that got stuffed or challenge in second half. DmO was iffy today.
Perfect call by ARchie getting it to the "other" senior, who didn't hesitate today and nailed it.
Gotta love his runner game! Vee got game Man. HuGE!

Agreed. Takes a big set of elephant Nutz to step to the line and sink all 3 in that situation.
