MJ on Sportscenter
MJ's block was the number 2 play on the top 10 on sportscenter tonight
Go Flyers!

MJ's Block
#2 on ESPN's top plays tonight.
That's two Top Plays appearances for the Flyers this young season.

Did you ever finish the final list for the drinking game you created?
Did you make a poster?
Let me know ...

seems like our Flyers have mastered the art of coming from behind to block the breakaway dunk or layup from the opposing team.
it may seem ironic, but i lean forward in my chair at times when we turn the ball over, if only to see an athletic display of hops by London, C-Dub, or Marcus by way of the swat.

Wright's dunk was 8.
Marcus's block is 2.
I am not complaining ... but doesn't that seem odd?
Hey ... we are becoming the "High Flyers" ... two weeks in a row. We would make a HUGE statement if we can pull out a win on Wednesday.

Very cool to be mentioned, but I think seeing LW or RL get back down the court and get up for the block is even more exciting. Those guys are fast, and build off each other.

Does anyone possibly have a clip of this? I was switching back and forth between this and the OK football game.

I'm not surprised to see Johnson's block on there as it was spectacular. I thought it might have a chance to get on the top 10

The whio feed was so fuzzy it was hard to see either play.

if CW's dunk was in last night's top 10 it would've been #1. last night's top 10 was really weak, but the one CW was in was loaded, thus the odd placement.
btw, pargo's #1 dunk was disgusting...man he is a player.

I dont think MJ makes the top ten a week ago. Im thinking that after a week's worth of buzz after CW's monster jam, ESPN will be watching any televised UD game for another CW dunk and last night they happened to catch a spectacular block by MJ.

I could not find it by searching on ESPN. I would have thought they would have a separate index for top 10 plays but couldn't find it.

Keep in mind that putting together the Top Ten falls on the responsibility of a different ESPN Production Assistant each night, so each night, you're seeing that person's opinion of the top 10 plays...hard to pull much rhyme or reason. Also it depends on how many other good plays take place that particular night.

Even though CW's dunk was #8 on the daily top 10, it still made the #4 play of the week. Didn't someone on here post a link where Jay Bilas said that he "jumped out of his seat" and he called it the best dunk of the year so far?

I couldn't find a clip of the block floating around...but instead thought I would plug a hot clip from last year that is somewhere in the depths of this message board by now...

im praying that someone is compiling some sort of montage/mixtape of all the amazing dunks and blocks of the year because there are a lot already. I think there is usually a season highlights reel at the end of every season, but i cant wait that long!

Appreciate the research, but watching that spectacular MJ dunk I'm thinking those plays don't quite have the impact in a 20 point loss.

This was actually from 2 years ago in Charlotte. I was at the game and it was one of the few highlights.
