Youngstown State Match
Need to get in and out of the gym for this match. We need to dominate. Team needs to come focused and a little chip on their shoulders might not be bad either.

UD takes first set in dominate fashion 25-13. After a tough day at the office last night, Jess is swinging with authority and passing well. 11 swings. 6 kills, zero errors - hitting over .500. Very good to see. Team is hitting .577 -- off the charts great. No blocks but we did get a lot of block touches -- which usually means the block are coming. You're in position.

After dominating the first set, UD going with some young guns. Amber-Jess and Margo are being teamed with Bri (I assume at the right sideOH), Jamie (I assume on the left OH side) and Sierra in the middles. And Jordan is in the mix too.

UD up 2-0 after winning second set 25-18. TH stayed with the lineup of younger players and Megan setting. No Jane, Kendyll, Lauren or Laura Hubacek. Great experience for a lot of players in this set. Also, Jamie did play left OH, but did not get set much. Everyone is hitting well, except Jordan has 2 swings and 2 errors. I will say i believe both of those were back row attacks -- I don't think she has played front row yet. And hitting out of the back is a crap shoot because many times the set is a last ditch effort. It's highly probable those two swings were very low percentage shots.

Flyers win! 25-18 in third. More subs on the court than starters the last two sets.
Showdown with So. ILL. LMM swept them 21-21-20 earlier today. All competitive sets just like UD last night, so this will be a dog fight. LMM a little ahead of both So ILL and UD this weekend. Would love to meet either of these teams again in the NCAAs later in the year or next year.
