If we loose this one I will be quite nervous going into next week. If we play like these we will for sure only have two games left in the season...

Davis and Davis haven't shot the ball well from behind the arc in a month or more. Same for Scoochie. It's killing this offense.

Not the way that I hoped to see the Flyers go into the A10 tournament. This was not a good performance.
Shake it off and perform in Brooklyn. I would love redemption against Davidson there.

Hopefully next year with Miller, Mikesell, and Cooke, not only will they have shooters, but they'll also have scorers.

Bubble watch has us as a lock but man I will feel a lot better if we win a couple in Brooklyn.
At least maybe this drops us to a 10 seed and gets us away from the 8/9 seed

The perimeter offense has to be a major concern. Dayton is very effective is the paint. but teams are going to pack it in and stick with Sibert and dare anyone else to beat them.

What a shame, this team had a chance to go down in Flyer history as improbable league champs. Instead they struggle to score 50 at LaSalle.
I'm a little nervous for selection Sunday now. No guarantees with our weak schedule and now two bad losses on the resume.

Unfortunately, winning on Friday won't completely cancel out this loss. The true road record now stands at 5-6.

This is the first loss that I thought we gave away with our play for 40 minutes. When this team got the 4 point lead, they got sloppy again. This one hurts because LaSalle didn't win this game, Flyers lost it.

Man that was ugly. Games like this are what aggravate me about the A 10. Hopefully nobody from the selection committee was watching CBS Sports Network this afternoon lol.
Why did we play "run the clock down on every possession/pass the ball around the perimeter/limit possessions" today? I understand it was necessary last Saturday at VCU, but Dayton is best when we are running, moving the ball quickly, and attacking the basket, and we weren't really in any foul trouble today. I think we could have put them away if we would have stepped on the gas a little and sped up the game. Instead, LaSalle dictated the pace and really controlled the game just about the entire way.

The Flyers passing was pathetic today. Even when they had an open man, they put the ball in a position that seemed to take over a second to control and shoot. Kyle Davis was the worst of the bunch today.
This team played two games today, the beginning it looked like they didn't care because they expected the game was going to be given to them eventually. Then they played what looked like desperation racing against the clock. No poise whatsoever. 3 crucial missed FTs at toward the end by Sibert, Smith and Pollard.
Just the worst effort all the way around. The only one who showed life was Pollard at the end.

Lousy game for Pierre. And the guards. Wow what a letdown in an important game against a lesser team. Turnovers were huge and Rebs and blocking out we're awful.

I don't think it's fair to say Siebert didn't play well. He did. But he had no support. Scooch, Pierre, Davis and Davis just didn't come to play.
Still a very good season overall, and the most important games are yet to come.

Kind of looks that way - after VCU our best road win is SBU (17-12, 10-8)

I think it's unfair to say that Sibert did play well today. This was a total team effort and Sibert was a big part of it.

I amemded to say when we are FAVORITES on the road....and with all their injuries, VCU is not a good team at present (see Davidson game)...we always tend to play down to our competion on the road...if every game was played at UD arena, we'd be top ten...I still have been greatly impressed by this team

How fitting. Archie doesn't even get to answer the first question from Larry before the broadcast equipment decides to call it a day.

Let's just agree to disagree.
Siebert scored 17 of our 53 points. If the others played anywhere near their average we Win. We did not lose because of Siebert, we lost despite of him having his usual good game.

only 6 assists. Both LaSalle games were ugly as the Flyers struggled to get good shots.

Points aren't the end all to what's a good game and what's a bad game. His ball handling and decision making was as bad as the others.

Teams win...teams lose. Irrelevant to point out any individual short-coming.
