Women are A-10 Champs

That's actually really awesome. I'll have to admit, even when attending UD, I pretty much only paid attention to Men's Basketball and Women's Soccer (my girlfriend was on the team). But I love seeing the success of some of the less heralded UD teams. Every time the women's soccer posts another shut out, or women's volleyball gets another big win, or men's soccer wins another A10 game - I get such a swell of pride.

Congratulations to another UD team bringing home an A10 championship. Let's keep them coming all year.

I'm continually awed by the progress of many of our teams that for years were an afterthought in the athletic program.

Congratulations to the ladies program and hopefully is the first A10 Championship of many more. I'm in awe.

This was a long time coming for both cross country squads. With the Lemon's both making NCAA's last year, I thought they'd be pretty good this year as long as they could get a consistent fourth and fifth man - enter Greg Roeth and Adessi.

It all started with Andersen, and many congratulations to Coach Davis on building a really good team filled with quality guys.

The women's team, I felt, was going in the right direction too. The trio of juniors on the team are all very good runners (Bulgrin, Coorey and Sherman) and having Mason in the mix now makes them a very deep squad even though Bulgrin is clearly the best runner.

And another big congrats goes out to Coach Alyanak on her Coach of the Year Award.

It's been a mighty impressive fall season all the way around the table, I just kind of summed it all up in my last examiner article:
