The game from the Syracuse perspective

Multiple articles from the Daily Orange:

"They were the better team".

http://www.dailyorange.com/

A massively big basketball program takes a shot to the gut.

Trevor Cooney:

Two days after answering questions at the podium about what went right, Trevor Cooney was back to his old routine.

He had his own place in the locker room where a handful of reporters would gather at a time to ask what went wrong. Why weren’t the shots falling? Was it the looks he was getting? Was something off with his release?

He sat there with a blank look, fielding familiar questions and spitting out familiar answers.

“I just never really got any good looks tonight and I never really got into a good rhythm,” he said, “and when that happens, it’s hard to carry it on and make shots."

Credit Dayton's quick-to-close switching defense. Syracuse shooters couldn't get comfortable.

Whiny Boeheim post-game comments were complete BS. He looked like the old "Stoned Again" poster (stoner's face gradually seeping through his hands as he tries to support his head)...Muttering some nonsense about 'You could say Dayton blah.blah.blah....

Same with Digger DH. On Dayton's chances of moving on the JO says something like, 'Dayton played two teams that can't score, Kansas and Stanford can score.'

Dickie V was very complimentary..

..
Yeah - neither of 'em have 50 more than halfway through second half. Kansas doesn't even have 40.

I know a lot don't like the Kenny and Charles show (I do), but Digger really is an idiot.
