I'm guessing he was playing for Cincinnati Sycamore HS in that tape, correct?

The kid can play a bit, but those are some non-existent defenses.
Looks like that game was played at Fordham's gym.

I had heard the Gruden kid was looking to walk-on the football team so interesting he chose basketball. Although, something will have gone horribly wrong if any of these guys are seeing meaningful minutes. There's a chance Wehrli could be used to give a foul and grab a rebound though I suppose. Was he the guy who was a really good volleyball player?

He was - yes. I'm guessing he does see some minutes this year at the 4.

Anybody remember the thread a few years back "develop the walkons" ? One of the most idiotic threads ever started and that includes the slop Rollo throws at us.

I know John's son was looking at UD a couple of seasons back, but ultimately went somewhere else for school (I know he was looking to play football at UD, don't know if he's currently playing elsewhere or what)

Does not look like he has been playing much.... Might have been better off coming to UD....

Maybe not, though. Kacsor goes 6'0" & 200 lbs. According to the Lafayette site, "Son of Chucky" is only @ 5'6" & 180. Don't know a thing about his skills, and would have been nice to have another 2nd-generation Gruden on campus, but at that size (even in D-I-AA, non-scholarship) he might have gotten as much PT for the Football Flyers as his cousin is likely to get for the Hoopers.
At any rate - congrats to both Joey Gruden & Nick Haldes on making the grade & making the team! GO FLYERS!!
