I think we recruited this kid out of high school. Anyone have any info on this? Looks like he's not returning to arkansas this year. Kind of surprising. Curious to know if he's a guy we could ever get as a transfer to compliment juwan his freshman year and even out the classes.

I wonder if that poster left school for academic reasons.

Usually, if a player is leaving school to play for another, the announcement will say that the player has been released from his scholarship and will seek a transfer. So yes, a boy can dream. But, it will be just a dream.

Beverley was a Dayton target for the HS class of 2006 (i.e., the one with Marcus Johnson, Kurt Huelsman, and London Warren). He wasn't a serious target for Dayton though. With that said, he had a great senior year and ended up skipping his original verbal to Toledo in favor of going to Arkansas. So, he wasn't a really high on our board at the time we were looking at him. But, he was on the board.

I heard he's transferring to Xavier.

He had a great freshman year under Stan Heath. Led the team in scoring i believe. Not sure how he did last year but from what I remember he would solve our outside shooting problems. Hopefully he lands on his feet.
