Yeah, when I saw this in the paper I was thinking that the PR people for bball tickets need a nice pat on the back for this one.
Not only does it show great appreciation to fans...and 400 level fans at that, but it also helps UD to be a team to root for in the whole area.

I read the article online this am and think it is a great idea! I even emailed the article to my brother, who is a Seton Hall grad and fan. I don't think too many programs would even think of doing this. A fantastic idea!

This is one of the best ideas in a long time. Agree or disagree with some of Gregory's coaching philosophies, he is one of the nicest men you will ever meet.

I like it. More props for the upper-deckers.

I love that is was to upper arena ticket holders. The "blue hairs" down low get plenty of bang for their admittedly big bucks, but ofter the people who can't afford or don't have a connection to the lower arena feel shafted. I imagine those 20 people had a great time meeting with the player and coach that delivered.
Great job, UD.

Bengals
A friend and myself were talking about this yesterday and how much of a great idea it was and wondered what would happen if the Bengals did this. Can you imagine having Chris Henry deliver your tickets and people not answering the door because they are afraid. Just a thought.

Rather than having the Bengals deliver my tickets I would prefer the Ben-gals!! (But the UD thing was a great idea!)
