Every game anymore it's between those 2. Gotta give it to Scooch today. He pretty much built our lead by himself before Pierre jumped in and helped protect and add to it.

Dukes interviewing Scoochie with the microphone a foot away. WHIO is hard to comprehend.

I would have to vote for our defense as the MVP. Held them to 6 offensive rebounds. Made 13 fast break points. Seven steals. Our offense was so cold the first half, but defense kept us in the game.

Yep. You hold a team to 50 points and you are likely to win. The D was fantastic.

My seats are at the other end of the court, but I could clearly see the mid-air foul from 150 feet away. And then, it looked like Jordan was being treated like a floor mat at a hog farm. How, exactly, his knee got injured, I don't know, but it seemed there was plenty of opportunity for that, and worse.

I'll tell you this, though: after that horribly blown no-call, and the pile of dog feces foul call at the other end, those officials must have had the fear of God rammed down their throats, b/c the rest of the game was about as well-officiated as any I've seen in that building in a long, long time.

As others have said - hope Jordan will be OK.

T-Bone, you're right about the refs after the Sibert debacle. Maybe they thought thousands of us would rush the court and string them up. D)
I had visions of ACL or something as bad when Jordan was writhing in pain. Mothers always think the worst, lol.
But the rest of the guys buckled down and his absence was not a factor. I started breathing again when he came back and seemed OK. At least we have an extra day between games this week.
Scoochie did carry the team on his back in the 2nd half. I said the same thing to my step-sis sitting next to me. He was a workhorse tonight. It cracked me up to see him and the Davis boys guarding such bigger players and doing a good job of screwing them up.
I will never get tired of watching this team.

I didn't see it. But if Scooch had so so first half. And Pierre had 16 points, 14 boards I go with Pierre.
