Had a chance to talk with UD AD Neil Sullivan last week for an extended conversation about what's transpired over the last 6-7 months and how everyone on his end has attempted to navigate these difficult times. Covered a lot of ground. Talked about the pandemic, strategies, leadership, the NCAA, fall sports, eligibility, scheduling, attendance considerations and plans, season tickets, arena seating contributions, and a host of other topics.

I heard and interpreted ...
1) big advantage UD for MBB seat license program (not so all A-10 teams)
2) seat license funding helps attract future athletes
3) $75M UD Arena renovation helps attract future athletes
4) ESPN relationship ... UD fans prior ESPN Exempt Tournament support (traveling, buying tickets, buying hotel rooms) placed UD in unique scheduling opportunity (not so all A-10 teams) this year for OOC scheduling
