Needed that 3 by Williams that would've cut it to 5. Still, just like Davidson did, GW has lost their legs.

These are great games for NCAA prep. You always have to gut out a win there. Cutting a 19 point league to 6 with a chance to win is great, actually winning is greater.

I know it can become ridiculous, but I wish college basketball had a form of continuation. The lack of it weakens the foul call.

Even when we play some defense we just haven't been committed to rebounding this year. We could and should be much better in that department.

In a perfect world, they never lose. In the second best world, this is the game to lose. Now win the tournament and make the Sweet 16 or better.

And two straight possessions UD presses and guess what UD gets two steals.

Yeah, that was a "We missed 2 fouls on the drive, so we'd better at least give them the ball." call.

This game might not end with the result I want, but that steal by K. Davis was pretty awesome.

A 3 here would increase the throat closure on GW too

On the WHIO radio broadcast we've been hearing a loudmouth taunting "Archie, Archie" all game. Almost makes me appreciate the Hawk.

Such an amazing and fun team. X Man got an open look that would have cut it to 3. We can beat anyone, even when down huge in the 2nd half. But we can't take any more games off.

Larry Hansgen compared the play to one that an NFL DB would make.

We needed a three there. A two took too much time to get us 4 points.

85-81 11.7 left GW ball.
I'm going to need someone to explain to me why we didn't start pressing and trapping until 1:09 left.

I'd guess a writer will ask after the game and we'll see what Archie says.

Big comeback but I hope there are no moral victory proponents. We stunk tonight. Our guards did not penetrate. Hated the pointless pop up passes in the first half

The curse of the Charles Smith Center strikes again.
The good = we made it respectable
The bad = our FTs.
The ugly = giving up 50 points to GW in the first half.
Let's win the A10 tourney and make noise at the dance.

I think winning the A10 tourney is only ticket to getting off 8/9 line. Early loss puts us at a 10 / or on the bubble depending what others do

Is it me or is that bracket they keep showing wrong? The 1 and 3 aren't on the same side of the bracket the last I knew.

Combined with K. Davis's missed layup that was an eight-point swing. Definitely a killer.

Some good news that I'm happy to share. My wife has been on my case to delete some of the 48 Flyer games I have on DVR going back to the 2014-15 season (we're at 90% of our storage limit). I just deleted this one in hopes I can forget it never happened.

If they play like this, a-10 will be a washout and one and done in ncaa again. These guys just don't ever seem to have a killer instinct that keeps them playing with energy. Very disappointing.

17-31 free throws for 55%, missed layups, listless defense for 3/4 of the game. Pollard came to play, the other three seniors not so much.
