Yes, the guys CAN NOT lay an egg against Richmond. They need to come out focused and ready to play, get the lead, and win convincingly. At that point, we win one in Brooklyn and we're in - anything else is for seeding.

Archie made a comment about defense started their offense. That is why UD won tonight. I was among many down on them early, but I have to admit. Their defense stepped up, Sibert stepped up and the center spot delivered. This team has been stepping up.

Big road wins have been far and few for UD especially in the A10.

Disagree. With our OOC wins and now back to back top 25 RPI our resume is leaps and bounds better than probably all other so-called bubble teams. We win on Saturday and it's a done deal.

There are only 2 A10 teams with 11 or more conference wins, so we could finish in a 4-way tie for 3rd (with VCU, UMass, & GW), but then you get into tiebreaker scenarios, and my head starts to explode. Best guess would be either the 4 or the 5 seed (knowing that we win simple head-to-head vs. UMass & GW, but lose against VCU).

Gw is at Fordham, umass has slu at home. If either or both loss, UD has the tie breaker with both, I doubt gw losses at Fordham, so 5 is as good as we can hope for, though I think umass wins at home as well. Richmond only has six
Osses as well, play vcu tomorrow, but if we loss to them again, they'd loss the tiebreaker at best and be seeded seven no matter what. Really want that five or six seed.

GW and Umass are both 10-5. GW plays at Fordham saturday, and Umass plays at home vs St. Louis on Sunday. If they both stumble (and we beat Richmond), we would get the #4 seed based on our 2-0 record vs them. This is assuming VCU, who is 10-4, wins one of their last two games (at home vs Richmond tomorrow and at St. Bona Saturday). That way they avoid a 4 way tie with us, GW, and Umass.

I think 5th is pretty realistic, can't see GW losing to Fordham but I think St. Louis could beat Umass.

Fordham is our friend in the last conference game. Last year they knocked off Bona which got us to Brooklyn.

Matta not teaching defense? If there is one thing he does well, it's teach defense. Inconsistent shooting and lack of defense is what landed Jordan on the bench...not to mention OSU was stacked with talent at that time (unlike now, when they need him). He was much more under control, calm and focused last night. More so than I've seen at any time this year, especially in such a pressure situation.

Last night felt like one of those Xavier road games where we would play really well and lead for some of it, then fall apart down the stretch. Heck, it even had the obligatory white guy dunk (that the bench clearly LOVED... reminiscent of Huelsman). But we gutted it out, unlike what we've done in Cincinnati.

I am glad that Crews is piloting the Billiken ship for a few years. They will be heading straight down the A10 standings until he is replaced. More room at the top for us.

Sibert might be and probably is the best offensive player on the team. He still has ways to go on defense. He gets some steals on D, but he is burned a lot. As quick as he is, he can still improve a lot. He might among the weakest defenders on the team.

He among many helped spark the Flyers last night.

I think Jordan has a lot of upside especially on D. He has been fun to watch and I think more great moments are coming.
