A Gregory Legacy
Yesterday, I received a flyer from SECRET SMILES OF DAYTON. Under "Major Donors" they listed Brian & Yvette Gregory. Mark Adams (along with Brian) use to MC an auction at Flanagan's during commercials of the post-game show to support this organization which was founded by a UD grad who died in the 9/11 attacks.
While the pros & cons of Brian have been discussed, this is one for the top of the + column. Coaches can come and go, but it's good to see where a piece of their heart remains.

My hope is that one day after Brian Gregory decides that he is going to retire from coaching he is given a position of importance at the University of Dayton. Could not find a better representitive of Dayton and UD.

I would be all for that...a similar role that former coach Mike Kelly has today. Brian is a fine, fine man and a good recruiting coach. He deserves the very best.

During the final 5 years of my working career I was employed as a Development Officer at Elizabeth's New Life Center, a network of 7 crisis pregnancy centers stretching from Sharonville to Sidney, in Western Ohio. Was a guest of Brian and his organization, at his home one evening, to speak to them regarding the mission of ENLC. He and that org are first class.

Regardless of some of our opinions on X's and O's...there is no question that he represents and continues to represent UD and the UD community well.

Very good run at UD. Luke warm run in a tough situation at GT and in the toughest conference in the NCAA. And as has been pointed out, BG is a quality guy, he'll be back.
