Crosby
I don't know what the stats say but my eyes say that was the best game Crosby has played. Might not have stuffed the stat sheet but IMO he played better than SS.

I thought he played well also. Not sure about > Scoochie, but he did play well.

He tends to get out of control on occasion, but I think he is looking better and better each game. Tonight he demonstrated the ability to hit the open man on the break. John will be fine as he continues to gain experience at the point.

I never knew what they mentioned on the telecast that Crosby is Tayvon Austin's cousin.

He had one assist and it was just luck. He scored 5 points in 20 mins and threw up an ill advised airball when we had time to kill. He got six boards which is great. I'm very underwhelmed as he shows no ability to create for others and little for himself outside of fastbreaks, and terrified of him leading us next year. He's our worst ft shooter-39%, shoots among the lowest % from the field as well. He is not a high level point guard, maybe gets to average for an A10 pg next year best case. Hope I'm wrong but the evidence so far says he has a way to go to be mediocre.

A dump off on the break to Cooke is luck? Wow get me some of what Maddox is smoking. Interested in the plus minus for tonight. I mean he's no 0-7 shooter from 3, but maybe someday he can aspire to that kind of performance.

I guess he was lucky that Cooke put himself in position to receive that pass and lucky that Cooke made it.

I don't care what the stats say or don't say, easily Crosby's best game.

Crosby doesn't have a college-ready shot, but that can be improved. What Crosby can do is get to any spot on the floor he wants to. What he's still learning is what to do when he gets there. He has the highest ceiling of the sophomore class.

Interesting that the three John made was a set shot, ala Schoochie and Price.
I still have my money on Crosby to be an excellent point guard by next year. We are spoiled having Scoochie, one of the top five in the nation. No one will fill his shoes. Crosby will be as good as most we have had in this program.

He is playing under control much more often. It's easier to see when you know the outcome and can watch the replay with a little less anxiety. His fast break assist to Kendall was picture perfect and in no way was lucky. He bounced it to the open spot where Pollard was supposed to be--and he was.
John is calming down. His move to the bucket was excellent on his only lay in.
You can tell Arch is beginning to trust him for longer stretches because he has earned it.

I agree. He looks more comfortable, and he's running the offense. Considering the court time he is getting playing behind Scoochie, he is progressing. There's another thread asking what's wrong with Scoochie. I guess we all yearn for the days of the "Jacksonville Jet".

He is certainly improving. I reckon DD will bring the ball up a lot next season.

Crosby and Wright both changed their initials to DD?
