Coach Allen Griffen
How convenient that UD has Coach Griffen on the staff!! Over the past few days I've been thinking about the fact that if UD plays Syracuse on Saturday, UD has a head start on the scouting report.
Griffen was a VERY good player at Syracuse and obviously knows the system quite well. No doubt that he is in charge of the scouting report and can certainly provide insight on the best way to attack the zone. Not to mention, he was a PG (4 NCAA tourney appearances), so he knows their system on offense as well.
Love this draw and early advantage (if 'Cuse wins).

It is a good match up. We can shoot and move the ball well. We are built to play against zones. Their bigs scare me though.

I would still rather play Western Michigan.

It's the NCAA tourney, so all the teams are good from this point forward. I say let's take on Syracuse and see what happens! Not to mention, if UD upsets Cuse we can encourage Coach K to talk more about how much 'better' the ACC is compared to the A-10.
