Davidson Game Thread

One heck of a comeback in a loss yesterday afternoon... The team is back on the road against the Top Team in the conference. Going to be an extremely tough game against McKillop's kids at Belk... Time to see how much they have left on Tuesday.

Game is on Tuesday Night at 6 PM and will be shown on the CBS Sports Network.

Starting Lineup:
G 3 Jon Axel Gudmundsson 6’5” 190 JR Grindavik, Iceland
G 31 Kellan Grady 6’5” 195 SO Boston, MA
G 34 Luke Frampton 6’5” 210 RS FR Poca, WV
G 20 KiShawn Pritchett 6’6” 225 RS JR Mooresville, NC
F 35 Luka Brajkovic 6’10” 220 FR Feldkirch, Austria

They are definitely led by Grady (16.7 PPG) and Gudmundsson (16.5 PPG 6.8 RPG 4.4 APG)... Frampton is lethal from downtown (39.4 3PT%)... Brajkovic is having a really good freshman season as well (11 PPG 6.6 RPG).

If there is a good thing... They basically play 6.5 Guys like us.

Can we steal one in a couple days? Time to find out how much heart we have.

They are very young,start two freshman and a sophomore and have no seniors. They have had several injuries and only go 7 deep. Credit to them winning the A10 last year and losing there best player Aldridge and are in first and 12 and 0 at home. Our fans get caught up in lack of depth, talking about how we will be next year....we can learn from Davidson. How about we go in there and get one!

Wonder how Davidson got down to 7 players? There coach has been there since the Civil War, so they did not clean house and rebuild with a new coach.

One of their freshman is redshirting and I think McKillop has some development/project guys on their bench

Nathan Ekwu one of the senior forwards I think is hurt too

Davidson has 10 guys who average over 7 minutes a game, and of course Ekwu the senior is hurt. That leaves them 9 players, unless someone else is hurt.

Saint Joe’s gave them a tough time on Friday. I would’ve been really worried if Davidson lost that game and embarrassed themselves in front of Steph Curry. Perhaps that overly emotional Friday night has something to do with betters having this at a three point Spread. No expectations, but would be elated with a win.
