Yes, still way early, but a bit frustrating that when you count the 11 other teams considered, our Flyers do not crack the top 36. No respect.

Actually, just realized no one in the A-10 even getting any love. 5 schools from the Big East mentioned.

Looking forward to next March and watching our Flyers get the last laugh again.

These are dumb. Willing to bet we'll be ranked preseason. 6 of 7 returning from 2nd round team. Impact transfer in Cooke. Slew of incoming talent to form a heretofore nonexistent bench. Hottest young coach in the country.

While it would be nice to see the Flyers ranked in the pre-season, the rankings really mean nothing. IIRC the last time we were ranked in the pre-season was back in 09-10 where we won the NIT. I have said it many times this year, I think this team as the talent to win the A10, and make a very deep run in the tournament. I am a huge fan of this Junior class+Pierre, I think the next two years will be special. Not much love for the A10 in these rankings (we probably don't deserve too much after last years NCAA showing from teams not named Dayton). Scratching my head a little at seeing VCU on a lot of rankings, but it's better than nothing i suppose. Hope we can surpass them as "poster child" for the conference soon! We shall see, it's a long off season!

Preseason Top 25 rankings might mean something if a scholarship is available and we're looking for a JC stud who wants to play for a team that has a high possibility of being covered nightly by ESPN and their score-ticker as well as SportsCenter highlights.
