I doubt this guy exerted much effort in trying to get a college scholarship. I think Archie would have at least had him in for a visit

I have no idea why access was denied. Here is another link. This guy said that he tried to get a college scholarship but when he couldn't get one he decided to enter the nba draft

If I were him, I wouldn't quit my day job. Certainly he could rule the roost in D2 somewhere and get an education at the same time. To me he was beyond even being a project judging from the clips.

I trust my opinion of recruits more than scouting services which is why I love everyone archie has brought in, before they arrived.
I never said we should have offered a scholarship based on the above info. And he certainly wasn't going to be offered by a power school with no practical bball experience. But there are a TON of lower level teams that could utilize a guy just because of his size and strength.
If you are a lower level div I team devoid of talent he would be worth the risk. And certainly div II teams would give him a scholarship.
