Dayton's Ashley Cattran Tabbed ESPN The Magazine XC/Track & Field Academic All-American

Junior Ashley Cattran of Dayton has been named to the 2009-10 ESPN The Magazine Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-America second-team, in voting conducted by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Cattran, the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athlete of the Year, had a particularly successful spring season and put an exclamation point on the tail end with her school-record time of 4:26.6 in the 1,500m event at the A-10 Championship.
