Golden Size Doesn't Matter Award - WMU
To prove my point above, WMU's 7' center, Seth Dugan, was worthless. Not only did our bigs shoot a combined 21-24, (mostly dunks) he (Dugan) only went for 4 pts and 1 rb. So the old adage about size not being important because it's what you do with 'it' that matters really is true...
Today's Award is a 4-man race. For obvious reasons I'm leaving starters Mikesell and JDavis off the list as well as Franikie and Cohill.
Go Flyers! My Team!!
FWIW, the Troy Jump Rope girls' Halftime show was OUTSTANDING!!!! God bless those kids...they are always my favorite show of the season.

Our Senior really picked it up in the second half when things got a little nervous, scoring 18 points in 18 minutes while working hard to get them.
I don't know what to say about Obi. What a beast. Throw the ball anywhere within 5 feet of the rim and he cleans it up. If he were Greek we would be calling him a freak.

Crutcher was a beast last night...hitting 3s (early) and double-digit assists...Toppin and Cunningham would have put up pedestrian stats without Crutcher's dribble-drive-dish-dunk performance last night...therefore, Crutcher earned the Golden vote from his King.

OBI is my new favorite player. For a guy of his size to have the energy that he has is fun to watch. I love his hustle and attitude.

Any of the four are deserving but I had to go with Crutcher. Coming off of a loss where many on this board criticized him, and rightfully so, for not running the offense efficiently, he got the offense going early with his own shooting and then kept it going by feeding the animals at the rim. Played like a true point guard who knew his team needed to win and get back on track after losing five of six games.

OBI brings the juice every second he's on the court. AG needs to seriously look at starting him vs Mikesell. Mikesell and Davis in some kind of shooting funk right now. But JD still bringing it on defense.

The Queen refers to Mikesell as 'white-cell'...no disrespect intended, of course.

Could have voted for any of them but went with Cunningham for the 8-8 from the FT line. We've struggle there and that really changes things when you're getting and one's.

Cunningham now has 3 games with 28 or more points in his career. Who was the last UD player to have 3 games of 28 or more points?

Speaking of Scoochie, he's playing for the Cavs' G-League affiliate in Canton (Charge) and in 15 games/15 starts, is averaging 11.7 pts, 4.7 rbs and 7.1 assist in 31 min/game.

I voted for Crutcher because everyone was critical on his play in the Tulsa game but he definitely made up for it. Cunningham and Toppin mostly benefited from Jalen's 10 assists against the Broncos!
