Where will we be ranked on Jan 20th?
Will we be in the Top 10 or will we not?
I think we will. What do you think?
Vote now or forever forever hold your peace!

I chose 9th. It is nuts to say that we are legitimately deserving of a top ten ranking on January 20th, but here we are!
That said, we have lost to the two best teams we have played so far... obviously both games could have gone either way, but our best win is over Saint Mary’s on a neutral court. That’s a good win, @ SLU and home vs VCU are solid, as is the neutral court W over Virginia Tech.
So, while we are 16-2 with great computer numbers, I think 9th is about right.

I say 10th...
and noting that both teams that had to
have overtime to beat us are both now
in the top 20... good for us
one game at a time,
just keep winning, baby
go Flyers!

I say 11th
Those P5 teams that lost ahead of us will be treated gently....remember the P5 leagues control things.
If/when we lose we'll drop like a brick
Soooooooo.......KEEP WINNING FLYERS......WHAT A GREAT SEASON!!

When we lost to Colorado we only dropped from 13 to 18. I didn't think that was too bad, but I get your point.

plus, it has helped our case with Colorado
cracking the top 20... that was not a bad
loss at all....
but I agree with Piqua, just keep winning..
people that vote love those P5's, and may
be looking for a loss just to drop us and
replace us with a P5er.... hope they aren't
holding their breath.. actually, yes I am...)
go Flyers!

We rose 6 spots in the ESPN power rankings
We also rose 4 spots in the Parish 25+1 rankings.
I think we’ll probably land between 8 and 9 tomorrow. I voted 9.

If we keep winning, we can get a 1 seed and be ranked #1 in the country.

I think Dayton will be 11th. UD will climb as WVU, UK, and Oregon all drop below Dayton. But Villanova will jump us. I’m interested to see what happens with Auburn. They were #4 largely because they were undeafeated. Less because of a truly great resume.

9-12 and a 3 seed. A10 is pretty tough at the top. I think the guys are going to win the regular season though, early wins against VCU and a tough roady at SLU will go a long way. They've got a pretty tough middle section of the schedule coming up with SBU, Richmond and Duquesne. Good news is the home stretch is advantageous. Bad news is that if you lose in the A10 pollsters will punish but I don't see this team ever getting outside of the top 15.
