It's hard to fathom how inept we are on defense. I just watched one of our guards pressure at half-court, get easily beat and we had no help defense until his man was shooting a lay-up and getting fouled. He drove straight down the lane untouched from half court against our half-court defense.
This team looks like they are defeated a few minutes after we take the court. Slumped shoulders and jogging back on defense.

Going to Mass. Maybe that will help. Will pray to Saint Anthony the patron saint of things lost so that we can find that team we had in Maui.

Foul on us with 7 seconds on the shot clock. We seem to raise mistakes and poor play to a whole new level. Just turned it over and gave up an easy layup.

effort is so dismal. No defense, no rebounding, stupid turnovers. They are going to have a hard time winning many more games is today is the barometer.

It is easy to see why a couple of our players got no playing time at their first schools and decided to transfer. You do not play D, you should not be playing.

Matthews goes up against 3 of our defenders, misses and they let him get his own rebound. And some people question if our effort is lacking.

Why do we play Scott at the top of the key. He throws no picks, never looks to the basket and gets rid of the ball ASAP

When we push the ball up the court, move the ball, and attack the basket, we look like we could beat anybody. That's how the Flyers played in Maui. I don't know why we don't play at that pace every game...

Bad shot by Scoochie but good for him. The Freshman is taking the team on his back right now while Price and his slowdown offense sits.

I want a ticket refund. I won't be at another game this year. Not driving all the way up from Cinci to watch effort like this. Gonna be real hard decision next year on whether or not I renew my tickets. Sick of seeing this melt down year after year after year. Kids don't want to go the games anymore and I'm not sure I do either.

URI has struggled to score in the 60's since Dec. 1...and they're putting up >80 against our man-to-man defense.
Scrap it. Play zone 24/7. It couldn't be worse.

It is standard with UD; opponents have their best games against them. No toughness or desire to take over a game.
The "go to player" by committee does not work. UD needs ONE of those. No one is stepping up. It looks like they are shying away from it.

That play just defined our season: RI misses free throw, RI gets offensive rebound and puts it back up and in plus one, and DMO fouls out.
That's Dayton Flyer basketball right there...

This team is a joke right now. AM in my opinion has lost this team much the way BG consistently did almost every year. This team should be top 3 or 4 and instead now pull up the bottom with Fordham- wow. I'm not wasting another minute watching this team unless somebody falls me on the shoulder and says "they just won their 10 straight - did you know that?"

'fragile' and 'not competitive in the A10'....words of wisdom used by Bucky and Larry describing our Flyers.

RI to 88. Maybe it will be a great moral victory to hold the under 90....

lets see down 8 with 1:20 guy misses foul shot, MattK ends up at the foul line DMO loses blockout and stickback and 1. Smith throws pass to Sibert who drops it out of bounds. There are a lot of guys who need to sit for a long time.
The effort is missing.
Archie doesn't have answers. The guys that I thought played hard was Scoohie. Honestly I would go with him at Price as the guards

I only used a little over half of my season tickets 2 years ago, about half last year and will use less than that this year. Letting my effort to go to the games reflect the efforts I have seen from the team. Time to move on. I just keep renewing thinking that this is the year that things change with this team. This is the worst fall from grace I can remember. Just can't imagine what has happened to this team. At least in the Staten year we know what was dragging the team down but this is a complete team wide meltdown, not just 1 or 2 players. This is leadership and coaching.

We were outrebounded by 12!!! That may have been our worst defensive and rebounding effort in many years.

I was in church for Mass from before tip-off until the under-8 TO in the 2nd half. Listed to the rest of it with Larry & Bucky. All I have to say is...
I PAID ALMOST $2,000 THIS YEAR FOR 3 TICKETS AND A PARKING PASS, AND THIS IS THE BEST YOU CAN DO?!?!
THIS SEASON IS SLIPPING-AWAY BEFORE OUR VERY EYES, AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY LAUGH & SMILE ABOUT IT?!?!
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS?!?!?!

Didn't see the game just the box score and that was enough.
I do not believe in boycotting the team as that would send the wrong message......however
I call for a BLACK OUT...all flyer faithful show up in black to show their displeasure with the program. To be honest it isn't just the mens bball program. The football program and to some degree the mens soccer program has gone downhill and fast.
That calls for immediate action starting with Mike Kelly, Tim Wabler and the coaches.
This team is basically Archies with the exception of Kavs and DMO. He has totally lost his team.
If I were the AD I would not wait till seasons end, I'd send a message right now before the flyer fans send a message to the AD and athletic department.
The mens programs are broken....fix it quickly or lose your fan base.

Avid, I don't know if you're calling for outright firings, and I don't care. But you are 100% right about TW (and, what the hell, DC) needing to have a sit-down with AM to impress on him how important it is to the University that this ship right itself NOW. If that means playing only the guys who care (and if that means playing only 4 guys, and playing them all 40 minutes), then so be it. At least, the fans could get behind the team that way.

Archie says our horrible play is a 'moment'.
I think it's a trend...which is why our opponents are able to pick us apart so easily. Moments go away...trends continue.
Maui was a 'moment'. Everything else defines exactly who we are.

Does Archie know its over/curtains for him and just going through the motions. But yes I think it is that serious as my family have stopped watching and if they have after 60 years then I feel other old timers might as well. Cutting Archie loose mid stream would send a loud message to the fanatics just like he did with Matt Affolder. We need know that the will not allow the programs to go backwards and will begin an immediate search for a successful head coach. Experiment with upand coming assistants isn't working. Even Butler is learning that the hard way.
Turn the program over to one of the assistants....while it may not help this year it will at least let the fans know they are not going to accept mediocrity...actually mediocrity would be an improvement right now.
This is Archies team now, no more excuses. His players have quit on him and are laughing on the bench getting schooled by a bottom tier A-10 team.

I missed the post-game Archie comments. Can anyone fill me in on what his demeanor was and what was discussed?

They care now, they are frosh. Give them a year or two and they will quit on these coaches and this program like the rest of the team has, like the team 2 yrs ago in the NIT at Iowa did and like last year's team did pretty much all of last year. Do you see the trend?

Archie said that every team goes through some bad times and this is ours. We must keep pushing through it and we will come back. Archie seemed composed, but you could tell he is shaken. Everything was "we" and there were no "I" statements or solutions.
