Charlotte Thread
The ladies won the first set 25-20, and got off to a slow start in the second set, currently down 1, 14-15.

Lose set 3, 25-12. Radio announcer stated it was the worst set loss this season.

Classic trap game after a big victory over a rival. Can't say I'm surprised UD didn't play well, but I at least thought the Flyers would win the match with a poor performance.

Since Shef and some players left, players got hurt, the WVB team has really struggled ... as if they lost their MoJo and can't get all of it back ... yet
To get to be a dominate team once again I think they need another year and continued good recruits for replenishment. Last season really impacted the whole team ...
They'll get better ...

Thanks for all of the great info!
The team will continue to improve this year and I still believe they are a big threat to win the A10 tournament at home and go to the tournament.
Really need to give props to Tim and his staff for their recruiting thus far. I think Amber and Jessica will be studs, Jane stepped in as a first game starter. The future looks good, to me it is a question of whether they can really come together by the end of the season. The fast emergence of Amber is huge. She cannot continue her current hitting percentage but if other teams begin game planning for her it will free up the outside hitters.
I also think that Rachel Jones has really stepped up from previous seasons.
