Baylor Match Thread
Set up courtside in Minnesota, watching the Gophers and UNI. The Panthers put on a clinic in set 1 - 'Sota had NO IDEA what was coming from Payton in set 1, but they've responded nicely, about to take set 3 after taking set 2. They'll be tough tonight, but we match up better with them than we did Northern Iowa.
As for Baylor, good block and good serve - should be a good test. Pregame in 35, match in 65. As that beer company likes to say, "Here We Go!"

18-16 UNI tops the Gophers in 5. Come on Flyers - let's win 2 today.

I just watched that match. Was a good one to watch. Nice to finally see the Bre Peyton I heard about all last night. Even when she got a good pass and it seemed obvious should would dump it over, it was very tough to stop for Minnesota. Tough to be everywhere on the court when Peyton is willing to hit every corner. Just makes Dayton's win last night even more special.

Close match the whole time, but UD pulls out the win, 3-1 after dropping the first set!

Talk about Jeckyll and Hyde - Northern Iowa took Baylor to task 25-16 in set 1, but it's been all Bears (21-12 as I type this) in set 2. Looks like UNI might have the type of offense where it surprises you at first, but then once you see it you can adjust and be more efficient attacking it and defending it.
Just my .02, for a self-proclaimed volleyball novice.

Baylor is a pretty solid club. #31 in the latest AVCA poll and were in the Sweet 16 last year. Getting outta Dodge with at least 2 wins is very good. Lets try for 3.
