Huge game! Cal is a likely NCAA tournament team, and we don't want to go home 1-2 in Maui. Neither do they. It's going to be a battle. Sure, we look great so far, but moral victories will not bring an NCAA tournament berth. Winning will. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
Go Flyers!

Scott learned his lesson yesterday. He was aggressive on the inbound and got the deuce.
Now keep it up.

The rim on my driveway is better than the rims at this tournament. Somewhere there's a playground in Maui with no baskets.

Great pass by Scoochie. Davis got killed in the body by two guys. I guess they only call a foul if you are on the ground.

DMO is shooting the three better than FTs.
We could be up 9 if DMO makes his.

Good strategy by Arch...save our 3 guards for the second half as long as we keep the lead.

10 point lead at the half. Gotta think that our depth will help us when both teams are playing 3 games in 3 days. Want to leave Maui with two wins so we need to avoid letting up with a lead.

Very deep team. Archie can easily go 11 deep. It's amazing how aggressive the two frosh are D. Scooch and Davis really get after it.

Jalen Robinson looked really good in the 5 slot. I can't remember the last time a 5 hit a 3-point shot. Also, he is finishing very well around the bucket.

This 3 in 3 is good conditioning for the EOY A10 Tournament. Arch is doing a nice job of working in all the players to save legs. Although I have to admit I hold my breath on some of their moves. JR is the man for the first 20 minutes.

I wonder how long cobbs is going to maintain this shooting clinic. I'm hoping his legs tire out before we start frustration fouls.

Would have loved a shot at Syracuse and the title, but I am thrilled with how our guys played, especially after last nights heartbreaker.
Well done, but let's finish strong!

Would like to see this Flyer team tonight against 'Cuse. We are playing relaxed and with confidence.

20 point lead. Leaving Maui with 2 good wins. Think back to IPFW. This is sweet and worth giving some Thanksgiving.

After watching UD in the red and blue, exhibitions, and first few games, I said that they were soft and were going to be terrible this year. I have now decided that I know absolutely nothing about basketball.

"Impressive performance by the Flyers." Says it all.
Thank you Flyers. I will enjoy Thanksgiving, and watching you the rest of the season.

And this was with Sibert only getting 3 points. Unreal depth on this team. I knew we would have much more depth but I never thought the Frosh would be this far along.

6 steals, 7 blocks, only 4 turnovers and outrebounded them by 2.
Who would have thought we would win by 18 with Pierre and Sibert with 9 total points, and Kyle the "Kite Man" outscoring both of them.

Proved....
....we can play with the best of `em.
(And, also proved that, as usual, our fate in March will be determined by our conference performance,...right?)
....should be among "others" receiving votes in the next polls....at least.

I'm guessing Archie made his point with Sibert after those bad shots to start the 2nd half.

Maybe Waleskowski, unless there was a time when LUUUUKE hit one while at the 5-slot?
