donation to upgrade seats

Who knows what the donation levels are to get a pair of season tickets at the 300, 200 and 100 levels? assume around center court. What is the donation needed to move lower for an existing ticket holder?
300 to 200 and 200 to 100.
I'm sure it varies, just trying to get an idea.

I do know for a fact that two seasons ago a friend of mine inquired about 4 100's and how much to miracle themselves there with no prior season tickets. It was over 50k...that' was to get 4 and then be part of the arena seating program.

That amount was figured to be what it would cost a ticket holder over the lifetime of sets to "move down" as much as possible over 20+ years.

About 8 years ago my friend donated $50,000 for the right to buy 4 seats in the two hundreds. I talked to our illustrious athletic director (Neil Sullivan) and he said 4 seats, if they were available, would require $100,000 donation.

Compounding this are the seats at the back of the 200 level that are being removed for handicap seating and those people have to be accommodated. I don't know if they are planning a mass exodus of grey hairs to provide seating.

I do know that there are several mega donors that have multiple seats in the lower level that the University uses.

I donated 9-K over 25 years ago for 2 seats in the 200's and 1 in the 100's. Kept the two seats and gave up the 1.

Good luck. I would look at stub hub thru the UD ticket office and buy tickets without donating anything. Great deals but without the parking pass.

9 years ago I inquired about moving from 302 to 115 (2 seats). At that time, it was a $25k donation (payable over 5 years), plus seat license, plus ticket cost, plus parking pass. Section 302 continues to be very nice.

I think the donation is tax deductible where as the seat license no longer is.

I have been informed that getting lower arena seats in now based upon lifetime giving. I have 2 lower and 2 premium (Club) seats. I asked about getting two more lower arena seats and was told this: To get 2 tickets in the 400s for the next season, then after the season request to be upgraded. All of the lower arena seats that open up will be given to those requesting upgrades based on lifetime giving. I believe this is how it works and I hope this makes sense.
