St. Louis game was our largest margin of the year, which surprisingly topped our Alabama margin. Let's push it over 40 pts on Saturday.
It will be interesting to see if LaSalle comes out with their slowdown game, and how Archie counters it. You know he will have the guys ready for it.

Archie knows he messed up and let La Salle dictate the pace in the first game. He will not let that happen again. No way. No how.

Another couple games like SLU and Steve will have season block record. Maybe he can get 8 Saturday and do single game and again at same time.

No...what I'm saying is that I have the royal power and ability to sweep any woman off their feet!
Especially cheerleaders.
Just ask the Queen of Rollowood!

Archie talks about Scoochie going through more of a mental problem than a physical one. He also says that changing the style or pressing is not the answer to LaSalle. Archie says sharing the ball better and playing our style well is the key. He characterized the first LaSalle game as the most selfish offensive game all year.

As is often the case, our game's telecast on NBCSN could very well be delayed. The current game -- UMass/Fordham -- is a one point game with three minutes left. Overtime is certainly possible.

While probably true about the selfish offense, I thought the bigger problem was that we couldn't stop them on defense when they only used about 8 seconds to find a shot.

Better get the NBC Sports mobile app fired up. Fordham and UMass in a one-point game with 3 min to play.

I sure wish the networks would schedule the games at least 2:15 apart. Very few games end within two hours.

Scoochie is trying to manage the game. Too laid back.

Maybe, but we only try to pressure the inbounds and then just drop back and never trap.
I'd like to see us use a 1-3-1 as a mixup/trapping defense. At least it would change things up. But I know I'm just wasting my keystrokes because Archie just simply doesn't believe in that.

16-7 on rebounds, shooting 59% and only up 5, due to 7 turnovers that LaSalle turned into 10 points.

Watch for Cooke, Big Steve and Pierre to have big 2nd halves as I'm guessing they are going to try to change things up to stop Pollard. It will open things up.

Shot 52% to their 33%, rebounds 22 to 10 and turnovers 9 to 4. Those 9 turnovers are leaving 10 points on the table.
There are games to speed up, and those to slow down. This is one to push it down their throats on offense. I hope Scoochie figures it out.

Our defense is terrible. We pressure the ball at half court for 15 seconds, and then allow entry passes and screens. Let them dribble it back there and pack it in.
Scoochie is killing our offense today... deja vu.

Silly that Steve has no points. Our guys threw two passes at his knees when he had position. With Washington with 4 fouls, get Steve the ball.

Again Scoochie slows it down and throws a bad pass to Pollard.

And we help off Price and give up a WIDE OPEN 3. At some point you have to just deny/not help off him. Make someone else beat you. To hell with your "defensive principles"

We have done a crap job guarding Price, their best shooter and we leave him wide open several times. One time on a screen, both our guys guarded the other guy and left him wide open.

Going to be interesting to see if Crosby or Scoochie plays these last three minutes.
I'd go with Crosby until he does something dumb. Scoochie has been horrible today.

Offensive foul by Cooke, with so much time on shot clock, got to play smarter.

Cooke is 1-7. He needs to stick to layups today.

Great game by the Chicago connection today. KD is such a key to this team. His 3s are now starting to fall and it opens up another dimension to this team.

Ranking rests on the outcome of 4-5 teams surrounding us.
We certainly didn't poke ourselves in the eye with a convincing win!
LaSalle's slow-down was their undoing...exacerbated by tight defense resulting in enough shot clock violations to make their coaches OD on Rolaids!

Doesn't look like he has an obvious physical injury, but like Archie has said he looks like he's just not mentally into it. Seems to be lacking confidence.

Whenever one of our guys is having a lackluster game, another steps ups! If we get everyone playing to their potential in the same game...watch out!

Stats:
Scoochie in 29 minutes had 2 pts, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 0 turnovers.
John in 13 minutes had 5 pts, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 turnover.
Crosby's constant pushing the ball and penetration was huge.
