Four. More. Wins.
We are at 21-5 now. As per the site below, we need to be at 25 wins to be at 99%. Right now, we are sitting pretty good at 93.4%. Given how we seem to get the shaft more than P5 teams (like the play-in game last year, for example), I would feel a lot better with 99%. Given, this is completely subjective and I am not sure how they get their percentages.
Games remaining:
Away: SLU, Richmond
Home: URI, VCU
Neutral: A10 tourney
So to get four wins we need today vs SLU and the URI game as well as the first game in the A10 tourney along with one win vs VCU at home or at Richmond.

Odds To Make NCAA Tournament By Win Total
Total Wins NCAA Bid%
28 100.0%
27 100.0%
26 99.9%
25 99.2%
24 94.8%
23 76.9%
22 29.2%
21 2.5%
OVERALL 93.4%
We are also 65% likely to be seeded between a 4 and a 7. So wins will not only help ensure our ticket is punched but avoid a potential 8 or 9 seed.
Again, completely subjective and not exactly breaking news, but still interesting to see statistics like this. The 76% with just two more wins scares the hell out of me and would give enough of an opening to show us the door to the play in game. Again.

I would take 25-7 right now and head for Selection Sunday. And I think you mean Rhode Island instead of Richmond. You mention Richmond twice.

Said in another thread I would take 4-2 before selection Sunday and run for the bank. But many others are sweating this finish also. Look how many good programs have 6 to 9 losses.

Look at the Top 30 RPI. In the last 12 games no one is undefeated, Nova has one loss, X and Joe's have two and all others have three or more, including UD with three.

As nervous as I am right now, and not having Pollard, I would even settle for 3-3, 24-8. We simply CANNOT have a collapse. But I would feel a lot better at 25-7 for seeding purposes. Would hate to fall to 8/9, although this season there may not be a big difference between the 1's and 2's.
