Nice article swampy. There is a reason that people play it safe. You can sit on your butt for years without really making a decision and be held in higher regard than someone who made 1000 good decisions and one mistake. I've been through it as the leader of re-engineering projects with IBM. The only way to avoid making possible mistakes is to not make any decisions.
