Butt ugly defense and almost as bad on offense. Gotta be like 13 TOs. No defense by Luke. KH can't throw it in the ocean. Totally outsized. This could be a total embarassment.

pg play awful, simpy awful which is making things like charles go to his drives happen and other lack of ofensive plan type of things.
let's see if either perry or williams can get involved . that's one key, as well as CJ. not enuf looks, purposeful ones, to CJ.
Chris W has to come out smart and show why he's the man in Dayton.
Marcus playing agressive, just not enough help!

No, apparently it doesn't matter. BG refuses to admit that he made a mistake in recruiting someone, or that AT LEAST one of his recruits can't play right when they get to college. LF isn't even CLOSE to being able to play at the D1 level yet he plays like 6 or 7 minutes in one of the biggest games of the year! What happened to BG only playing guys who played D? I guess that's thrown out the window w/ LF. Kurt yet again disappointing but we need him in there to at least have some height against Freeze. Searcy picked a bad week to get hurt in practice.

I'm sure he's a nice kid and all, but Stephen Thomas should probably transfer to a lower-tier Division 1 program.

What an Embarassing First Half
The unis look awful, the team looks awful, totally out of control and way too fast at the offensive end. They may be playing themselves out of an NCAA bid. They really do not look good enough to win on Saturday or in the A-10 tournament first game. What an embarassing effort on national tv.

They are playing sooooo panicky. Just calm down and run the offense. We are forcing up so many shots. Charles Little is trying to take his man one on one too much. Pass it around a little before trying to force a tough shot up.
Fabrizius cannot guard McClean, its just not happening. I would rather have a huelsman or wright with two fouls on the court. Fabrizius isn't gonna get an open look with someone like McClean guarding him and he certainly isn't gonna stop anyone on defense.

This game doesnt cost us a bid. If we win on Saturday we are fine. Anyone who thought we would win tonight after DS got hurt is not keeping it real
We cannot compete down low and should have played some zone. Asking LF to guard in the paint is nuts...hes never had to do it and it takes a couple of seasons to learn to do so.

That is exactly right. I don't think he played against them at home. He just isn't athletic enough to play against X.

Will someone tell Kurt, that he does not have to fade away from the basket eveytime he shoots the ball.
My goodness...you are almost 7 feet tall...ATTACK the basket!

Great D to start the half. We will only have a chance to win this game if it continues and we force some turnovers and convert on them.

That foul on Freeze (aka 'the thug') makes up for the no call against ST on the other end when he put a saddle on him and rode him around the front court.

Really poor shot selection the last few times down the floor, and it is costing us big time - from down 6 to down 11.

Most games I think that if a scout was in the building they would think that MJ was the guy we have who has a chance to go pro. I understand that he is undersized and all that jazz but he is a more important piece to this team then CW. He plays bigger when it matters. I agree that this "may" be because CW draws so much attention but still!

Our lack of 3 pt defense has cost us this game. We don't have the guns to make up 14 pts in 6 minutes...

So are we going to trap and press like crazy the rest of the game even though the score could get out of hand?
or
Do we just play the same way we have been and keep it somewhat respectable?

we miss 2 three pointers in a row, BJ makes 2 three pointers in a row. No way to recover against that. I think we held pretty **** tough in the second half. Get healthy, regroup, and take it out on Dooookcane Saturday.

4 minutes until....
We get to hear Gregory sell us all on how tough it is to win in the league on the road....again....after awhile, the team buys in and doesn't think they can win on the road...sure has shown the last few games.....at some point you just have to grow a huge set of elephant 'nutz and just play like there is no tomorrow......home or away....stop making excuses about how hard it is to win on the road and just win! Jeezuzz.

Not sure how many minutes CL played, but they have been running guys at him, while KH sits with foul trouble. I think he's outta gas.
