Listening to Lunardi
Its like getting 10 opinions on a restaurant and nine restaurant critics are overwhelmingly positive. But instead of taking their consensus, you dwell on the mildly disappointing review from a well known critic who writes for the biggest paper and who you know has an axe to grind about the restaurant in question. After all, he also works for another competing restaurant.
Can we agree to take this wind bag for what he is already? It would be one thing if he was the most accurate out there, but he is not.
If his column was cited as being a big influence to awarding Michelin stars to restaurants, fine. But it is not. There is a committee of other chefs and restaurant owners who vote in that process.
He writes for the biggest paper. That's it. Had to get that off my chest.
