And it's not like they had hands in their faces, they were fairly wide open shots that they are missing

18 Fouls on Dayton and 9 on W&M. Remember, we were one of the lowest fouling teams last year.
I really feel like Cooke slid to the side on his offensive foul call and the defender had his arms forward. I am perplexed with the rules, don't get them at all. Thought plays like that were no call or on the defense.

Pollard coming through in the final seconds. Cooke played a gritty great game. My heart can't take this but this is probably a great game for the Flyers to have going into Orlando.

One block, but he held #31 to two rebounds, and that kid would not drive on Steve in the last quarter of the game, and walked when he did.

Cooke played a great half but I was glad Pollard was there at the end. All in all, likely the type of game this squad needed at this point in the season. William and Mary is an impressive team and I hope for our RPI that they do very well.

3-0. Faced tough adversity and heading into the biggest game of the year. Win puts us in a probable bracket with ND,Wich St. and _avier. Loss gives us probable Monmouth,USC,Alabama.
Great win. That team was no joke. Go Flyers!!!!!!!

I think it's more accurate to say he won the game for us while someone else was at the line--with 2 rebounds on missed FT's.

This is being streamed from a Time Warner receiver, and the operator is a moron. They were showing golf, then we got to see them pull the guide up and try to change the channel, but fail. Several times. Then they turned on the Penn State v Michigan football game. Now they got it right, which is good, but also pathetic that it took so long.

Liked how we came out to start the 2nd half because William and Mary also came out strong. We shot 77% for FTs and W&M shot 52%. Did not like the 19 TOs.
Looking forward to watching the Flyers play Iowa on Turkey Day.

totally missed it, catching up via stat boxes and game thread here.
Good test for us today. Pulled thru with some rebounding , key plays. And looks like Cookie, Pollard and Big Steve were the players of the game today.
Didn't think it would be this close. Gotta tighten up the ball handing for Iowa.
Good Victory!

Lot of offensive fouls called on us that I thought were worse than questionable and never were they called on W&M. Baby D was present but the Flyers resisted the temptation to try and get back in the game and then extend their lead with 3s.

Shows just how great our crowd is. It was their 6th man, the Refs, against our 6th man the crowd, not great odds in that situation, but we won.

W&M is a very good team. They beat NC St by 17. They are very tough to guard because all their players can handle the ball and they have several good outside shooters. They will win a lot of games this year.

Not sure what the stats say. Pollard was huge in the final minute, but was really hurting us thru most of the game. He did not play well at all.
Cooke, Steve, Scooch and KD were big. Once again, it won't show in the stats, but KD makes things happen on the court. W&M went on a run late in the 2nd half to make it close again, and I believe that was done with DD on the floor and KD on the bench. KD comes in and makes a huge steal and layup. He also had a tremendous pass to an open Cooke in the corner for a big 3.
Very good win. This could be looked at as a quality win come March.
