Starting Lineup:
G 1 Jarvis Garrett 6’0” 175 SO Milwaukee, WI

I was at the first URI game and its the last game that I actually thought we played decent (and that was 1st game without Pollard). The one thing we didn't do well and I hope it doesn't happen again tomorrow is find Four McGlynn. He is not much more than a shooter so someone needs to stick with him and not help off of him. Without Martin we should be able to dominate the boards and Pierre and Big Steve should be able to score inside. NEED TO WIN!

Christion Thompson missed Rhody's last game with a concussion and reportedly did not travel to Dayton with URI so he won't play tomorrow.

Four scares me to death, but hopefully Kyle will be charged up to shut him down. Lately Kyle has played lackadaisical at the start and most of the first half. It is time for him to step up and give us a full game.

I would just show Kyle the tape of him getting lit up by Four in the first game to motivate him. You simply can't help off McGlynn and let him get in a rhythm which is exactly what Kyle did at their place.
As of right now Kyle's reputation as a shutdown defender has been damaged. I don't see anyway he makes the A10 all defensive team.

No Baby D today
David Jablonski @DavidPJablonski
Darrell Davis is not here for @DaytonMBB because of a death in family. His uncle died. News via @larryhansgen, who talked to Archie pregame.
Prayers with him and his family

Looks like Kuran Iverson will be coming off the bench for URI... Earl Watson gets the Start
The usual... 11,3,4,21,5 Starting Lineup for us
EDIT: Nevermind, looks like Iverson will start over Akele

Cooke has forgotten how to pass. Every time he gets ball in his hand he forces shots. The team needs to make those extra passes that turns from slightly open to wide open.

Great now we have Bobby and Kyle out there and neither will take a shot. RI just guards the other three. Kyle has been open a half dozen times.

Even though we are not scoring I feel like the offense has a little more flow to it today. Defense coming out lethargic again. Need to find the 3 point shooters especially Four.

Another entire half without getting to the free throw line. Offense is just terrible. Teams don't even care about hitting the O boards. They know we can't score.

We have talented player, let's run a couple set plays to get them going. Scoochie needs to drive the lane more. Charles Cook is just in a funk and playing with no confidence. We need to get him a couple of easy looks.

I don't know how we start every game down 8-12 to 0. Just makes it really difficult. We need a run.
Cooke, Schoochie, and Kyle are nonexistent on offense. Pierre, Pollard, and Crosby are the only ones with an offensive game.
I just don't get it. Wha has happened?

Cooke hits and gets his first points of the game. He needs to get going. Do not want to start the 2nd half with a hill to climb.

Put Crosby back in -- he at least looks to drive it.
Kyle was 3/4 for 3 last game and not even looking to take an outside shot.
Cooke cannot hit shot whether 3 pointer, 2 pointer, or foul shot. How are we so bad on foul shooting!??!!??!
I am ranting.

What has happened to us defensively?!?!? Earlier in the season when teams did score against us they at least had to work for it, now everything is easy.

OK. Pollard has played most of the 1st half. Same product. Bottom line is this team is just pathetic right now. Communication, hustle, closeouts on 3-point shooters, you name it. Everything is at a season-low mark. To have it on ESPN2 with extra visibility just makes it all that much worse.

Defense we are #13 in the country.
Defense not a problem, perhaps this game, but that is not it. Rhode is 5/8 from 3 and yes open looks, but some have been lucky like the the one that bounced off the side of the rim, off the backboard and in.

Have we stopped a dribble drive in the last 10 minutes?

Again, another poor performance.
Say what you want but would you bet on the flyers really competing in the A-10 tourney let alone the remaining games.
Would it surprise you if we lost 3 of our last 4 games.
We had a great season for the first 3/4 and be absence since.
No heart ,no passion equals poor performance.

Two Saturdays in a row where at halftime I am disappointed I drove from Columbus to watch this. The oral history of this team in a few years will be interesting. They look less than a shell of their former selves. It is extremely disappointing to watch this season circle the drain like this.

Probably not on the bubble but this has been a sub NIT team for 7 straight games. Rhody is really really bad.

This is a complete debacle. There is absolutely no ball movement offensively.

Rhody may be bad, but they'd make a much better highlight clip than the Flyers this game. If RI continues with 3s at their current pace, we are doomed

I don't know how we can do it but the bottom line is this team needs to figure a way to scratch this one out.

Without defense the SLU game would have been a L (we sure didn't win it with our offense!)

The good: we are at home, Pollard is playing, and we are playing a team with not much depth.
The bad: we are down 13, D Davis is not playing, and we are continuing our funk.
The ugly could be another home loss. Hope not.

Correction, without SLU's lack of offense, would have been a L.

I love Scoochie but his laziness should not be tolerated and it effects the others. Sit him and play John the next ten minutes.

Why did St. Louis score 13+ point from the first game. Why is RI on pace to score about the 15 more than the last game?

Our defense is awful, and the O is stalled. How anyone can dismiss the last 5 games, plus what has happened up to now, is beyond me. If we dont regain our previous form, we may be a bubble team.

They are shooting 56% and we are at 36%. Our shot selection is one on one pure crap.

Ram's backup Berry scores 19 all season and 9 against us in the first half. Is that a metric to judge our first half performance or defense?
